We’re in for a crazy night in the Big Brother house, as we’re going to be seeing two houseguests evicted during one show, which brings the possibility for a real shakeup of power.
There are some houseguests who were anticipating tonight’s double eviction, while others, such as Alex, Raven, and Jason, who didn’t think so. We’ll be seeing an eviction, HOH competition, nominations, Power of Veto competition, POV ceremony, and another live eviction all during tonight’s one hour show!
The plan that the majority alliance put together last week will finally come to fruition at today’s veto, sealing the fate of the target they have wanted out for weeks.
Cody has been the main target in the house since he returned, but they haven’t been able to get him out since Jessica won the HOH the first week he returned and Cody earning his safety the week after, which led to those targeting him to get out Jessica, who was his closest ally. Once Matt won this week’s veto, the plan was all but accomplished.
This week’s veto meeting might have accomplished what was attempted since week, which is breaking up the biggest and most obvious power couple in the house.
Josh originally wanted to nominate Cody and Jessica, but after Cody won safety and Jessica became the third nominee, he had two put up two different nominees. He nominated Mark and Elena, telling both that they’re pawns. Mark was a pawn, but Elena was actually a target for Josh. Josh was hoping that these would be the nominees come Thursday, but Mark managed to win the Power of Veto.
The actions taken at today’s veto meeting will completely set the course for the week, as Jessica has been given the chance to attempt a backdoor of anyone she wants.
Jessica won HOH this week, nominating Josh and Ramses for eviction. She later went on to also win the Power of Veto, which gives her the power to choose who the final nominees that’ll be nominated for eviction come Thursday. Jessica might have the chance to put up anyone she wants, but she has made it clear that her ultimate target is Josh.
The actions at this week’s veto meeting could be the final nail in Dominique’s coffin or could leave her with a fighting hope and the ability for her ally to campaign on her behalf.
Alex nominated Jessica and Dominique with the full intention of sending Dominique home. Once Jason won the veto, it was up to him to either leave the nominations the same or pull Jessica off and put up a better pawn who is less of a target for the entire house. Paul lobbied hard for Mark to be that replacement since he’s so close to Dominique and this is how they could ensure he doesn’t campaign for her, but Paul doesn’t know that Mark and Jason have a secret duo, which made Jason adamantly against that idea from the start.
