It’s been a while since we’ve had a veto ceremony where it wasn’t obvious to everyone in the house what was going to happen, but that finally changed today.
Jason nominated Matt and Raven this week under the promise that Kevin was the target and that they veto would be used on Kevin. Raven made it clear throughout the week to several different people that if the veto wasn’t used on her, she was going to flip a lid. To add to this, everyone in the house, including people in on the actual plan, reassured her all week that nothing was amiss and that the plan hadn’t changed, but it had.
Jason decided to not use the Power of Veto, leaving the nominations the same, and ensuring that either Matt or Raven will be evicted. Since Jason’s alliance wanted him to use the veto on Raven to have Kevin put up, he agreed to take all of the heat for his actions, meaning that everyone else acted like they were surprised by Jason’s actions.
Now we just have to wait and see if Raven is going to freak out like she had been talking about so much now that she knows that either her or Matt will be going home this week. We’ll also get to see if Matt follows through on his idea of eating normal food despite being a have-not so that he gets penalty votes to ensure that he goes home over Raven. We could be in for an interesting week.
