While it was a fairly eventful week following the veto ceremony, it was pretty clear going into tonight’s eviction which of the two nominees would be going home.
Jason nominated Matt and Raven for eviction this week with the promise that he’d use the veto on Raven if he won it so that Kevin could be put up and backdoored. However, when Jason actually did end up winning the veto, he changed his mind and decided that he’d rather blindside Matt and Raven at the veto ceremony by keeping the nominations the same and ensuring that one of them goes home this week.
Matt wanted to ensure that Raven stayed instead of him, so he decided to break the have-not rules repeatedly, but only managed to get a single penalty vote out of it. That means that Matt already had one vote to evict against him before tonight’s live show even started.
Big Brother 19 Week 9 Votes –
- One penalty vote against Matt
- Alex voted to evict Matt
- Christmas voted to evict Matt
- Josh voted to evict Matt
- Kevin voted to evict Matt
- Paul voted to evict Matt
- By a vote of 6-0, Matt was evicted
While this was a fairly predictable eviction, things will really start to get interesting now that all of the showmances have been broken up, leaving only Alex and Jason as the clear power duo. Alex and Jason are convinced that not only are Christmas, Josh, and Paul on their side, but that they know aren’t going to win, so they just want to further Alex and Jason’s game. Depending on who wins HOH tonight, Alex and Jason could see themselves getting blindsided.
