The plan that the majority alliance put together last week will finally come to fruition at today’s veto, sealing the fate of the target they have wanted out for weeks.
Cody has been the main target in the house since he returned, but they haven’t been able to get him out since Jessica won the HOH the first week he returned and Cody earning his safety the week after, which led to those targeting him to get out Jessica, who was his closest ally. Once Matt won this week’s veto, the plan was all but accomplished.
Matt used the Power of Veto on Jason. Alex nominated Cody in Jason’s place, alongside Elena and Matt. Despite being nominated and winning the veto, Matt decided to go with what his alliance members wanted instead of saving himself from the block, as if he would have taken himself down, there wouldn’t have been a replacement nominee.
While the target for the week is set, there is still potential for drama, as Cody told Kevin several personal things in confidence, which Kevin turned around and virtually told everyone in the house. We also have Cody telling Alex and Jason about wanting to target Paul, which has Paul wanting to confront him. On top of that, we also have Cody potentially stirring the pot one last time before he leaves, which would be him revealing who voted for him to stay the week he was evicted, which was Christmas and Kevin. We’ll just have to wait and see if the rest of the week will either be a dud or if we’ll get some drama.
