We thought going into this week that it would be a quiet and straight forward week, but things were shaken up after the temptation competition and a public fight in front of the house.
Alex’s original plan was to nominate Mark and Elena alongside each other, but that plan was scrapped after Mark secured his safety for the third week in a row by winning the temptation competition and Matt went up as the third nominee, who was also floated as potential nominee next to Elena. That gave Alex and her allies just a couple hours to find someone else to nominate.
Alex ended up nominating Jason and Elena, alongside Matt as the third nominee. She went with Jason because it was the perfect way to save face with Elena, since Alex is using her closest ally as a pawn, making it clear that Cody is the actual target.
The actual target this week is Cody and everyone is banking on him not being chosen to compete in the veto. If Cody is chosen and wins, he plans on using the veto on Elena, which would force Alex to put up someone else. The current backup target that everyone has seemingly agreed on is Matt, but that could change, as this is Big Brother after all.
