The stakes continue to raise the further into the summer we go, and now that we’re down to the final five, the stakes have never been higher.
Josh nominated Alex and Kevin this week, making his intentions to get Alex out fairly clear. However, Alex is still under the assumption that Paul has her back, so she has said that best case scenario would be for Paul to win the veto so that there was no chance of Paul getting backdoored after Alex came off the block.
In reality, everyone, including Paul, would likely keep the nominations the same so that they could send Alex home. That being said, Josh has been contemplating whether or not to take a shot at Paul this week, which could be determined by whether he wins the veto himself or Kevin wins it and forces a replacement nominee to go up.
Paul ended up winning the Power of Veto, which means that he’ll have to out himself as working with Josh when he doesn’t use the veto, since that would mean Christmas goes up. It’s possible that Paul ponders using it, but that is surely going to be shut down. The nominations are virtually locked for the week now and Alex’s fate is sealed.
