We’re less than 48 hours away from the surprise eviction and a little over a week until the finale, which means that the final moves of the season are being made and plans being hammered out. The bulk of what we have to look forward to today is Paul telling Alex that he’s not saving her and Josh deciding whether or not to expose Paul’s actual game to Alex.
12:45 PM BBT: Christmas told Paul that they must make sure that Josh doesn’t believe anything that Alex tells him. Christmas added that if Paul thinks now is the best time to tell Alex that he isn’t going to use the veto, he can go ahead and do it because she said that she’s willing to take whatever heat comes her way. Paul said that he’s just going to tell Alex to get it out of the way.
12:55 PM BBT: Paul told Alex that he’s not going to use the veto. You can read a full recap of their conversation by clicking here.
1:50 PM BBT: After his talking with Alex, Paul went to Christmas and Josh crying, telling them how he feels bad for having just told Alex that he’s not going to use the veto on her. Paul explained that he told Alex that he’ll try to get Christmas and Josh to consider keeping her, but said that Christmas and Josh should give Alex a hard no if she asks them since it would just make it worse if they give Alex any hope.
2:10 PM BBT: Christmas asked Paul if he told Alex that he spoke to them about not using the veto. Paul said no, that he said that he only got the vibe that they didn’t want him to use it. Paul said that now the only person who could expose them would be Raven, stating that she could tell the jury about their plan to split the vote to get Jason out.
2:15 PM BBT: Josh told the viewers at home that it pisses him off how he’s been real while others are manipulating the situation to the benefit of only their game. Josh explained that Paul was being honest when he said that Alex would beat him, but said that Paul is pretending like he’s still in Alex’s corner. Josh said that whenever he says one thing to secure his own position, Christmas and Paul get mad, all the while they have all their bases covered.
2:30 PM BBT: Paul asked Josh what is wrong with Josh, stating that he personally just had to do one of the hardest things ever in telling Alex that he wasn’t going to save her. Paul explained that Alex called him selfish, but said that sometimes you have to do things to protect the ones that you’re loyal to. Josh said that he feels numb to everything. Paul told Josh that he’ll only have to deal with that for another week, but said that he can’t just get up and walk out of conversations because Christmas will start to get upset.
3:05 PM BBT: Josh told the viewers at home that Paul has convinced everyone that he hasn’t done anything, all while the attention has been kept on him and Christmas. Josh added that Christmas has also been naive to it, buying everything that Paul was selling her. Josh then questioned whether he should ruin his game by exposing everything about the Misfits alliance to Alex.
Josh said that Christmas isn’t taking him to the final two because she thinks she can beat him, which Josh said is the reasoning behind why Christmas is letting Paul do all these things to only his benefit. Josh said that if Christmas and Paul want to keep being selfish, he might ask for a split vote, then use his tie-breaker to keep Alex. He said that he could turn the entire head upside down with less than 9 days to go by requesting a split vote in front of Alex.
3:55 PM BBT: Paul told Christmas that everything he does is letting someone down, which he said sucks having to carry that burden. Paul then questioned whether it’ll even be worth it because he said that he doesn’t think that he’ll be able to win no matter what. Christmas said that shouldn’t matter since that wasn’t his goal coming in.
4:15 PM BBT: Paul told Christmas that they need to keep Alex away from Josh. Christmas said that it’s Josh who they need to keep away from Alex.
4:20 PM BBT: Christmas told Josh that Alex hasn’t spoken to her while he has. Josh said that Alex only said that Paul isn’t using the veto on her. Christmas asked what was going on with Josh, but Josh just said that he needed a minute. Josh told Christmas that he’ll talk to her when he’s ready, then went to go to talk with Alex again.
4:25 PM BBT: Josh told Alex that he doesn’t feel good about what has happened, stating that he feels like he’s hurting her. Josh said that he wants Alex to know that he really does love and appreciate her. Josh began to cry, but Alex said that both Josh and Paul shouldn’t be crying, that it’s her who is going home and should be doing the crying. Alex said that she’s tired of it all, stating that her and Jason trusted them and now they have turned on the both of them. Josh said that he loves her, but Alex again said that it doesn’t matter anymore and that he’s not their friends. Alex said that she’ll give Josh a fair shot when it comes to her jury vote, but said that she wanted to be left alone.
4:35 PM BBT: Christmas told Paul that if Josh is wanting to play the victim, she’ll make Josh be the tie-breaker, explaining that if Josh is keen on making things more difficult, she can make it even more so.
4:40 PM BBT: Christmas then went to drag Josh out of the room where Alex was, laying into him about crying to Alex. Christmas asked Josh if he wanted her to be the one who goes home over Alex. Josh said no, but Christmas listed off three options that Josh can go with, involving getting out Alex, getting out Christmas, or getting out Kevin. Christmas then left the room and slamming the door shut behind her.
4:40 PM BBT: Paul asked Alex what Josh had to say. Alex said that she just told Josh to get away from her, stating that she’s being sent out because they know that she’s better than them. Alex told Paul that she wanted him to leave the room so that she didn’t say anything mean to him, bringing up how she chose Paul over Jason when she should have pulled Jason off the block. Alex went on about how it was him and Christmas who voted out Raven, stating that he couldn’t even have her back enough to vote out Kevin when she wanted.
4:45 PM BBT: Christmas told Josh that he’s not to talk to Alex anymore, but Josh began to fight back, stating that both her and Paul were just having their own conversations with Alex, questioning why he couldn’t do the same. Josh told Christmas to not ever try to make him choose between her or Alex again. Christmas said that she doesn’t ever question his loyalty, but Josh said that Christmas just did.
4:55 PM BBT: Paul asked Josh why he was jeopardizing all of their games by talking to Alex again. Josh said that he was only telling Alex that he loves her. Paul said that Alex is only more pissed off now that she was before. Paul then asked how they’re going to vote, stating that Alex is looking at him like he can somehow make the situation right. Paul explained that Alex thinks they could convince Josh to break the tie, which means that it’ll all come down to him since he was the one to poke the bear. Josh then started to encourage the split vote, telling Paul that he’ll be the one to send Alex home.
5:20 PM BBT: Paul told Josh that if his mind isn’t right going into next week, one of them is going to be taken out. Josh said that he’ll snap out of it. Paul said that he wants to believe that, but that Josh hasn’t been listening to the advice that Paul has been giving him. Josh said that they should just do the split vote and he’ll explain to Alex why he’s sending her out, which Josh said is the only way that he can fix the situation.
5:30 PM BBT: Paul told Alex that the split vote my work after all. Alex said that she’s done, stating that the house is full of counterfeits. Alex warned Paul that she doesn’t believe that Josh would take him to the final two. Paul said that nobody would take him. Alex said that she wouldn’t go against Kevin in the final two either. Paul said that Christmas is a risky option too. Alex finally said that it would have to be Josh who he sits next to. Alex and Paul then went back and forth as to which of them is getting screwed over by the move being made this week.
5:35 PM BBT: Christmas apologized to Josh for being mean to him.
5:45 PM BBT: Paul told Christmas and Josh that they might not have to do the split vote anymore because Alex is checked out, but Paul said that they should do the split vote and he’ll be the one to send Alex out. Josh said that he’ll tell Alex that he knows that he won’t be able to beat her.
6:15 PM BBT: Alex asked Christmas why she voted out Raven over Kevin and who she is going to be voting out this week. Christmas said that both her and Raven are better competitors than Kevin. Christmas explained that she doesn’t think that Kevin deserves to be in the house this long, but said that she can beat him in mental and physical competitions. Alex asked if Christmas would hold it against Paul for using the veto on her. Christmas said that it isn’t about holding it against Paul, it’s about the fact that Alex would likely make it to the end with Paul. Christmas added that she knows that she wouldn’t be able to beat Alex in the final two either.
6:20 PM BBT: Christmas told Josh and Paul that she told Alex that she’s voting her out and said to Josh that all he needs to do now is tell Alex the same thing if she asks him anything further.
6:45 PM BBT: Alex told Paul that he has to win the upcoming competitions because they’re going to come for him. Alex said that she’ll do what she can when it comes to getting him jury votes. Paul asked if she thinks that his best bet is to take Josh to the final two. Alex said yes, but said that it could be dangerous since Cody predicated that he’d make that move. Paul said that everyone would if they were in the same situation. Alex said that Jason might think that Paul was working against them the entire time and was apart of the plan to get him out. Paul said that he didn’t vote Jason out. Alex said that she’ll tell everyone that he has been playing the best game and deserves their vote.
7:20 PM BBT: Paul told Christmas and Josh that Alex is ready to go home and has checked out, so he said that there is no more need to split the vote.
7:25 PM BBT: Alex asked America to vote for her as America’s Favorite Player since she’s getting screwed over now.
10:00 PM BBT: Alex told the viewers at home that Paul and her both promised to take each other to the end, but instead Paul lied. She said that Paul isn’t the person or the friend that she thought he was. She said now the best thing that she can hope for is America’s Favorite Player. Alex told the Paul fans not to worry because she’s still going to vote for him to win, but just said that he did play her.
Alex said that Christmas said that she doesn’t want to be carried, but then has been carried and hasn’t won a single competition that hasn’t been thrown to her. She said that Josh said he wants to play a good game, but has kicked out all of the good players. Alex said that Paul has also had her throw every competition that he ended up winning. Alex then began on a venting spree about how Paul’s “friendship” slogan was a lie and that Paul says it’s not about money, but he’s still not using the veto on her, which would be the only thing that makes sense if he really didn’t care about it. Alex said that Paul taking Josh to the end is a coward move.
