Big Brother 19: Day 67 Recap

It’s veto competition day, which means that we’re going to be getting a pretty good idea as to what the final nominees for the week will look like. The game talk for the week is surely going to be on what should be done with the veto, as Matt is the clear target and that isn’t going to be changing with Jason as HOH.

11:05 AM BBT: Alex told Jason that Kevin is upset because he was trying to show his value in that last HOH competition, but ended up being the first out. Jason said that pissed him off. Alex said that the stories that Kevin tells are always inconsistent and change with whoever is listening.

11:15 AM BBT: Alex told Jason and Paul that they should throw the veto to Josh or Kevin, stating that they don’t need to scare Kevin this week by making him a pawn. Alex said that next week is when Kevin will go up as a “pawn” and go home. Paul said that Kevin can’t win neither physical or mental competitions. Alex told Paul that she believes that Kevin is lying about taking the $25,000. Paul said that if that’s the case, he wants to find out why Josh was saying otherwise. Alex told Paul that Kevin might have told Josh to see if he could trust him.

11:30 AM BBT: Alex and Jason debated whether or not Raven is actually sick. Alex said that she doesn’t want them to be portrayed as the assholes on TV for talking bad about her. Jason said that he doesn’t think that Raven is popular, citing Raven not getting a temptation, not getting a question from Julie, and getting the worst zing from Zingbot.

5:00 PM BBT: Jason won the Power of Veto

5:05 PM BBT: Paul told Matt and Raven that he believes that they’re good and they have nothing to worry about. Raven asked if Paul believes that Jason is going to use the veto. Paul said yes, just that they can’t act weird.

5:15 PM BBT: Matt told Raven that as long as Jason does what he said that he’s going to do, they should be fine, as Raven would be coming off the block. Raven said that if one of them do go this week, there is nothing they can do about it now.

6:20 PM BBT: Kevin asked Jason if they’re going to be getting Matt out first. Jason said yes. Jason explained to Kevin that Matt and Raven think that Kevin is the target, so he was thinking about putting Kevin up as a pawn and Kevin can act shocked. Kevin said that he doesn’t want to have to pack everything when they can just keep the nominations the same and send Matt out. Jason said that he wanted to do this so that people can’t say that he hasn’t been on the block yet, but when Kevin asked who is saying that, Jason said that he didn’t know.

Kevin then figured out that it was him who Raven said that they all know who her target was during the HOH competition, to which Kevin said that they should leave Matt and Raven up to show that they don’t have the control that they think they do. Jason said that he can just leave the nominations the same. Kevin said that he can’t believe that Raven said his name, then questioned why Christmas or Josh wasn’t brought up. Kevin told Jason that there is only one reason why Christmas has been acting so nice to him and it’s because he’s HOH.

Jason told Kevin that he’s going to keep the nominations the same. Kevin said good and that the only reason why Raven agreed to be a pawn is for the air time. Kevin told Jason that if he gets HOH next week, he’ll nominate Raven as the target and Josh as the pawn.

6:45 PM BBT: Paul told Christmas and Josh that Alex and Jason are clearly a strong duo, so he questioned if they should send Kevin home. Josh said that Kevin has to be put up. Christmas said that Kevin is a number for Alex and Jason while the three of them would still be in good graces with Matt and Raven. Paul said that if they were to send Kevin out instead of Matt or Raven, Alex and Jason would be upset. Josh said that Alex and Jason wouldn’t have the numbers anymore.

6:50 PM BBT: Paul asked Alex, Jason, and Kevin who they think should be sent out this week. Jason said Matt, but said that Raven is the bigger pain in the ass. Alex said that she can’t stand Raven, to which Kevin said that Matt would be no problem while Raven is the annoying one. Paul asked who is the one calling the shots in that duo. Alex said Raven. Jason said that they should just send Matt out since he’s the more promising one.

Paul asked Jason if he’s just not going to use the veto. Jason said that he’s not going to use it and that they’re going to send Matt home. Paul said that it doesn’t matter if it’s used or not as long as the vote is a landslide.

7:10 PM BBT: Alex told Christmas that Jason told Kevin about the plan to put Kevin up to keep Matt and Raven calm, which now has Kevin not wanting to go up and Jason saying he won’t use the veto. Christmas said that it was obvious that Kevin wouldn’t want to go up, which is why she questioned why Jason would even tell Kevin anything. Alex said that if Jason doesn’t use the veto, he’ll lose Matt and Raven’s jury votes because they’ll think he’s a liar. Alex said that she’s going to win the HOH and send Kevin home.

7:20 PM BBT: Jason asked Josh what he thinks that Christmas would say. Josh said that Christmas wants Matt out. Jason said that is done and that he’s leaving the nominations the same to ensure that.

7:20 PM BBT: Paul brought the plan to get Alex out to Kevin, who then tried convincing Jason. You can read the full recap of those discussions by clicking here

9:00 PM BBT: Alex told Christmas and Paul that she believes that Kevin has Jason by the balls. Paul said that Kevin does. Alex said that if Kevin does get put up, they need to vote him out.

9:05 PM BBT: Christmas asked Paul if it’s time for them to tell Jason about Kevin taking the $25,000. Paul said that Jason and Alex both already know. Paul told Christmas that Alex and Jason are actually fighting right now, which Paul said meant that they did good work. Christmas told Paul that she doesn’t know which is the smarter choice between Matt and Raven, citing how Raven guns for the HOH every time while Matt would put up Alex and Jason.

9:10 PM BBT: Alex asked Paul if Kevin agreed to go up. Paul said that it’s not Kevin’s choice and said that Jason should have never have made it Kevin’s choice.

9:15 PM BBT: Matt told Christmas that Jason could leave him on the block next to Raven. Christmas said that she doesn’t think that’s going to happen, stating that it would be the stupidest move for Jason to do such a thing and said that Alex wouldn’t let him.

9:35 PM BBT: Raven told Matt that if Jason were to break his word on national television by not using the veto, everyone would be pissed and say that he’s not a real cowboy. Matt said that he’s confident that they’ll be alright, but said that for Jason’s game, it would be better if he left them on the block since they both would put him and Alex on the block if they were to win. Matt explained to Raven that her reasoning for Jason not wanting to take them out is because the house would be mad at hime when the house is planning on putting him up anyway.

10:35 PM BBT: Paul asked Alex if she really cares what happens this week. Alex said no, that Matt basically told them earlier that he doesn’t care if he goes home this week. Paul said that Jason should just not use the veto then. Jason said that he won’t use the veto and that they’ll send Matt home. Paul said that the best case scenario for them next week is to throw the HOH to Josh so that he can put up Raven and Kevin for them.

10:45 PM BBT: Jason told Christmas and Josh that he isn’t going to use the veto and that they’re going to send Matt home this week.

11:25 PM BBT: Matt told Josh and Paul that if Kevin goes home this week and they’re not all able to beat Alex in the HOH competition, they should all just self evict. Matt said that while Jason has been dominating, Alex is the bigger mental threat. Paul said that he’s not worried about it, but pointed out that Kevin doesn’t leave Jason alone. Matt said that he believes that they’re fine. Matt said that he doesn’t think that anyone is going to be able to change Jason’s mind and he’s going to do whatever it is that he wants to do.

11:40 PM BBT: Jason told Alex, Christmas, and Paul that if he were to put Kevin up, he’d have too pretend like he didn’t know that they were going to vote him out. Paul said that once Kevin leaves, Jason wouldn’t have to speak to him again until the finale. Alex said that if Jason isn’t wanting to take Kevin out, she’s willing to win next week’s HOH and do it herself. Jason said that he’s taking out Matt. Paul told Jason that is fine and that everyone is going to support him from every side.

12:30 AM BBT: Christmas told Jason that Kevin is only one vote in jury while Matt and Raven are two votes. Jason said that he was never going to get Matt and Raven’s votes to begin with. Christmas said that Matt isn’t a strong competitor and Raven is trying to win but never can while Kevin has been playing all sides of the house and making all sorts of deals.

12:35 AM BBT: Jason told Alex that she can throw him under the bus to Matt and Raven once he leaves the nominations the same so that he takes all the blame, but Alex said that she wasn’t going to do that. Alex told Jason that Christmas, Josh, and Paul all pretty much just told them that they’re going to let the two of them walk into the final three because they were looking out for Jason’s jury votes. Alex said that trio is their friends and she trusts them. Alex added that the way Paul plays chess with everyone and teaches them how to play is how he’s doing with them, stating that Paul has been helping them learn the game better like a coach.

12:55 AM BBT: Kevin asked Jason if he’s going to leave the nominations the same. Jason said yes.

1:25 AM BBT: Alex told Paul that Christmas and Josh are willing to let them just walk to the end once they get down to five. Paul said that is what he’s been trying to tell her, adding that he doesn’t know how it’s this easy. Alex said that it’s because of the weak cast
