Big Brother 19: Day 62 Recap

Just like the remainder of this week, virtually all of the game talk will be about everyone’s plans going into the new week, what order of eviction they’d prefer, and who they actually want to work with now that the majority alliance will have no choice but to finally turn on each other once Mark is out, the only person not in that alliance.

11:25 AM BBT: Jason told Kevin that Raven has been using her illnesses to her advantage to make people feel bad for her and want to keep her in the house. Jason said that nobody even knows if what everything Raven is saying is true or not, so everyone just has to go along with it.

11:30 AM BBT: Christmas told Matt and Raven that Mark campaigned to her last night and was trying to put the target on Alex. Matt said that it’s clear that Mark doesn’t understand everything that has been going on behind his back. Matt told Christmas that he thinks that Alex and Jason think that they have her and Josh, which Matt said is perfect for their game moving forward. Christmas said that Alex feels good with her, but said that she doesn’t know how Jason feels about her. Christmas told Matt and Raven that if Alex or Jason were to win HOH next week, she’s fairly sure that the two of them would be put up with the intention of backdooring Kevin. Raven said that she thinks it would just be one of them going up as a pawn and said that she’s willing as long as Kevin is next to her.

12:40 PM BBT: Jason used the POV on himself. Christmas nominated Mark as the replacement nominee.

12:40 PM BBT: Christmas told Mark that doing that wasn’t easy on her. Mark said that it’s okay and said that she handled everything this week well. Christmas said that him making this week so cordial actually makes it harder for her when it comes to getting him out. Mark said that he just sees that it’s a game.

12:50 PM BBT: Josh told Alex, Jason, Kevin, and Paul that Mark was trying to get Alex on the block last night, explaining that Mark was talking about how strong of a competitor Alex is. Jason said the strong competitor argument is what Mark said to him about Paul.

1:00 PM BBT: Josh told Matt about Mark campaigning, then added that he respects Mark for not just rolling over. Matt agreed, saying that people have to at least try to stay in the house.

1:10 PM BBT: Kevin told Jason that if he wins HOH next week, he’s going to put Matt and Raven up outright to ensure that one of them goes home even if one of them wins veto.

1:15 PM BBT: Josh told Alex, Christmas, and Paul that Kevin is wanting to get rid of Alex because he believes that he’ll be able to control Jason. Paul said that Kevin told him that they should take a shot at Alex and Jason once they get down to final six.

1:30 PM BBT: Jason told Alex that Kevin said that he hasn’t stabbed anyone in the back. Alex said that Kevin said that because she told Kevin that people who backstab will get what is coming to them.

1:45 PM BBT: Paul told Alex and Jason that they don’t want Kevin winning the upcoming HOH because he might take a shot at Alex. Paul brought up Kevin’s $25,000, saying that Kevin has been bragging about it. Alex said that she’s still not even sure that Kevin actually has the money and that he might just be doing it to earn praise. Paul said that Kevin already has $40,000, which he said makes Kevin high if he thinks that they’d praise him for that.

2:00 PM BBT: Paul told Josh that they’re going to have to say something about Kevin’s $25,000 soon. When Josh asked why, Paul brought up that nothing he has said so far hasn’t turned out to be true. Paul also warned Josh that he’s going to have to start being mean to him so that people don’t know that they’re working together, stating that if people were to find out, they’d be screwed.

2:30 PM BBT: Josh told the viewers at home that he’s currently in the best position that he’s been in the game thus far. He said that Paul has finally come around to wanting to target the same people as him and now their trio of Josh, Christmas, and Paul is locked in. Josh said that next week he wants Alex or Jason gone since those two are a power duo, but said that he doesn’t know the order since Jason would stick with Kevin if Alex were to go while Alex wouldn’t go to Kevin if Jason were to go.

2:30 PM BBT: Paul told Christmas that it would make more sense to them if they were to take out Alex before Jason only if Alex or Jason win the HOH next week and break up Matt and Raven.

2:45 PM BBT: Josh told Christmas that he walked in on Alex and Jason whispering and said that they were sketched out when they saw him. Josh explained that Jason is making it really easy on them when it comes to wanting him out. Christmas said that they just need to make sure that Alex and Jason are most annoyed with Kevin. Christmas told Josh that Matt said that he’s going to offer Alex or Jason to be the pawns next to Kevin, but Christmas said that Alex or Jason wouldn’t actually be pawns. Christmas told Josh that she was the vote for Cody to stay the week before Dominique went out.

4:25 PM BBT: Josh told Christmas and Matt that he doesn’t want Alex or Jason to win. Matt said that one of them needs to win and just put up both Alex and Jason outright. Paul asked if he has a preference between getting Alex or Jason out first. Matt said that he knows Alex and Kevin would never work together, suggesting that Jason should go first. Matt said that Paul should throw the HOH to him if it comes down to the two of them and Raven.

4:40 PM BBT: Paul began talking to the viewers at home. He said that his ideal final three is with Josh and Christmas or Matt and Raven. He said that if he’s able to get to final five, he should be able to get to final three since he would be able to beat Kevin, Raven, Josh, and Christmas in an HOH and POV competition. Paul said that the next three people he needs evicted are Alex, Jason, and Matt. Paul explained that if the final five is him, Christmas, Josh, Kevin, and Raven, he believes that he’d win the game.

Paul said that he needs to be facing off against Christmas, Josh, and Raven in the final four HOH to ensure his safety and pathway to the final three. Paul said that the biggest risk for him being sent out is during final six and seven. Paul said that he needs to keep Alex in the game until at least final six because she’s the one target that is equal to him and would be targeted first.

4:50 PM BBT: Paul told Josh that Matt is wanting them to throw the HOH to him so that he can put up Alex and Jason. Josh said that he doesn’t mind being the one to make that move because he doesn’t fully trust Matt. Josh explained that while they might not be the target, one of them would have to be the pawn and he doesn’t want to test that.

7:20 PM BBT: Josh told the viewers at home that he loves Jason, but said that Jason is just too good of a competitor and isn’t actually in Josh’s corner. Josh said that if he gets HOH next week, he’s going to take a shot at Alex and Jason, stating that if they let those two go any further, they might end up being too strong to ever get them out. Josh said that Kevin has also started to become a real threat to his game because Kevin is paranoid and is onto the game that Josh is playing.

9:25 PM BBT: Matt told Raven that he cannot see Alex voting to keep Mark because that would be drawing the line in the sand already, but said that if that is what Alex and Jason want to do already, they can go ahead and try. Matt said that they’re at the point where they have to start winning.

9:50 PM BBT: Paul asked Matt if he wants the HOH to be thrown to him if it comes down to it. Matt said yes, saying that they’re in win or go home mode now and if they don’t win the HOH, there is a good chance that one of them ends up going home. Matt told Paul that the game runs through him and that if someone wants to win, Paul is the person that they’d have to beat. Paul said that if someone pulls him to final two, they’re going to beat him because all they have to say is that he’s played the game before.

10:15 PM BBT: Paul told Christmas that Matt just said something weird to him, then explained the comment about in order to win the game, they’ll have to beat Paul. Christmas said that if people are thinking strategically, Matt isn’t wrong. Christmas asked Paul if he doesn’t think that Matt, Raven, Alex, and Jason haven’t talked about him behind his back. Paul said that he doesn’t know. Christmas said that she believes that Alex and Jason are going to be playing as many angles as possible. Paul asked if he should be gunning for the next HOH. Christmas said that she doesn’t know and said they should think about it, but also said that she had a moment earlier where she thought that she screwed up by not putting Alex up.

Christmas told Paul that Matt and Raven have been much more on their side while Alex and Jason have been shady. Paul asked why Matt and Raven would be freaking out about him if they’re much more on his side. Christmas said that Kevin could be prodding. Paul said that he doesn’t think that Matt and Raven have the balls to do anything crazy.

10:40 PM BBT: Paul told Alex that he thinks that the two of them should talk to Kevin to freak him out, stating that Kevin went to Christmas today and said that they should get Matt out. Alex said that Kevin has hated Mark forever, but now all of a sudden he loves him.

11:00 PM BBT: Paul asked Matt if he doesn’t care about taking the shot at Alex and Jason and drawing the line. Matt said he doesn’t care, to which Paul said that he doesn’t either. Matt explained that if they’re going to send Jason home, he wants to do it so that Raven can maintain her relationship with Alex. Paul said that he’s most comfortable with him, Matt, Raven, or Josh winning the next HOH.

11:05 PM BBT: Paul told Christmas that Matt thinks that Alex and Raven have a good friendship, which Paul said that they know isn’t true. Christmas said that the only two times that she has seen Matt get upset is when it had to do with Raven. Christmas asked Paul why it would be smarter for them to let Matt win instead of Josh. Paul said that it wouldn’t and that Josh winning would be preferable. Paul said that he should go to Alex and reiterate that they need to take a shot at Matt and Raven, along with telling Alex that Kevin is wanting her out.

Christmas told Paul that she thinks that he’s in a really good position. Paul said that he thinks he, Christmas, and Josh are all sitting in a good position. Christmas said that if it comes down to someone realizing Paul’s game and wanting to take a shot, she said that she could deflect it. Paul said that he doesn’t want Christmas to have to do that for him. Christmas said that it makes more sense for Paul and Josh to go further than her.

11:50 PM BBT: Alex told Jason that Kevin is wanting Paul to take her out, then take Jason out the following week. Jason said that Kevin is an idiot. Alex said that Kevin asked Christmas to keep Mark and get out Matt this week, which Alex said makes Kevin insane. Jason said the likely reason that Kevin would want to take out Matt this week is because it keeps Mark as a target to be gone after the following week.

Jason told Alex that they do have to take out Matt. Alex said that she’s thinking the pecking order should be Mark, Matt, Kevin, and then Raven. Alex explained that they’ll have to be careful about Matt and Raven since that duo will be voting as a team in jury. Alex said that she believes that if Paul makes it to the final two, everyone will vote for him to win since he has stacked the jury. Alex said that the two competitions that Paul has won were thrown to him, but said that Paul has been working hard behind the scenes.

12:00 AM BBT: Paul asked Kevin if Jason would take him to final two if it came down to Alex, Jason, and Kevin in the final three. Kevin said that Jason would take Alex because nobody is going to be voting for her to win. Kevin said that he’d vote for a pair of shoes before he voted for Alex to win, then explained that Alex doesn’t like him anymore because he doesn’t kiss her ass like Jason does.

12:05 AM BBT: Alex told Jason that they need to stick by Paul because they made a promise and said that she doesn’t think that Paul has screwed them so far. Alex said that Paul can’t screw them because he has to uphold his fan base. Alex said that they can forget Kevin because he has screwed them and gone against his word multiple times. Alex added that they week that Kevin goes, they need to push him to his limit so that he cracks.

12:15 AM BBT: Paul told Alex that Kevin is terrified of her, explaining that Kevin feels good about the four that they made, but that he wants Paul to take a shot at Alex when they get to final six. Paul said that instead of screwing with Kevin, they should just keep him complacent so that he doesn’t even want to win anything. Paul told Alex that the pecking order is Mark, Matt, Kevin, Raven, and Christmas. Alex told Paul that she doesn’t even know why Matt is in the house, stating that is the only person who she hasn’t seen play the game at all. Paul said that when they nominate Matt and Raven, they can tell the duo that it’s because they’re trying to backdoor Kevin.

Paul said that the only people who would only vote for him in jury is possibly Christmas and Josh. Alex said that she thinks Elena would too. Paul said that the argument that he’s already played the game before is going to screw him.

1:00 AM BBT: Paul told Christmas that if he gets taken out, he believes that her and Josh could beat anyone in the jury vote, including Paul himself if he were to stay. Paul said that he didn’t come back to win, he came back to play and be entertaining. Paul said that he doesn’t even think it’s possible for him to win since everything is so stacked against him.
