It’s veto competition day in the Big Brother house, which means that we’ll get a pretty good idea as to which of the nominees will be sitting on the block come Thursday. Since Cody didn’t get picked, it’s not looking to good for him, but we’ll just have to wait and see who actually ends up winning the competition.
9:20 AM BBT: Mark and Paul were picked to play in veto, alongside Alex, Elena, Jason, and Matt.
9:25 AM BBT: Paul told Alex, Jason, and Kevin that it’s done and they don’t have to d even talk game for the rest of the week, but then asked if they should get rid of Mark before Elena since he’s better in competitions. Jason said that he doesn’t care. Kevin said that Mark would go after Matt, Raven, Josh, and Christmas, not any of them. Paul said that they need to protect Christmas and Josh because they’re good for their game. Jason said that he’d rather get Matt and Raven out over Mark and Elena since Mark and Elena are easier to hang out with. Paul told Jason that he needs to separate his emotions from the game.
9:35 AM BBT: Once Kevin left the HOH room, Alex told Jason and Paul that Kevin never comes up to the HOH room, which she used as proof that Kevin is sketched out about something. Paul agreed, saying that Kevin has been acting weird. Alex said that she thinks that Kevin is playing up missing his family and that he’s using it to play off being paranoid. Alex said that Kevin has been working them, getting them to do everything for him, so she said that they shouldn’t feel bad for him.
Alex said that the final four is her, Jason, Paul, and Josh, then said that they have to think about who the fifth will be since Kevin is acting weird. Paul said that as much as he despises Christmas, she can’t physically win. Jason said that he doesn’t despise her anymore. Alex said that Christmas is crazy, so she’d have to sort that out if they were to take her.
9:50 AM BBT: Alex told Jason that she’s going to make Cody feel bad about betraying them so that he can stew on that in jury and hopefully vote objectively at the finale. Alex added that she wants Cody to think that Paul is running the show so that animosity doesn’t change. Alex told Jason that them two, Josh, and Paul will be their final four, and Christmas will be their final five, but only if Kevin keeps acting crazy.
Alex told Jason that if she wins the final three HOH, she’s probably going to pick him over Paul, but said that she isn’t going to promise anything because she doesn’t want to look like an asshole on TV by going back on a promise if anything changes in their friendship. Alex told Jason that at some point they might want to have a meltdown towards each other so that people don’t think they’re still as close as they are.
10:25 AM BBT: Matt told Raven that if Kevin won HOH, he would put up Christmas and Mark since Paul wouldn’t let him do anything silly. Raven said that if she won, she would put up Josh and Mark, then if Mark won POV, she’d put Elena up. Matt said that she should use a stronger pawn than Josh. Matt said that getting Cody out this week is huge since Paul might not get nominated against until final five, which he said is good for them since Paul helps them work with everyone since everyone trusts Paul.
10:35 AM BBT: Jason told Kevin that Cody is gone and they’re just skating now. Kevin said that he trusts whatever they say, so they just need to let him know the plan. Jason said that everything is fine and that he just needs to calm down. Kevin said that he thinks Matt and Raven should go. Jason said that he thinks so too, but said that when they’re working with a group like they are, it’s not always in their own hands.
11:00 AM BBT: Cody told Kevin that his only hope is that people talk themselves in circles enough to where the plan changes. Cody asked Kevin not to say anything, then revealed that he has a daughter that he only gets to see during the summer and gave that up to be in the house.
11:05 AM BBT: Josh told Alex and Jason that Mark is only talking to the two of them now because he knows that he’s next to go. Josh said that they need to keep playing nice with Matt and Raven because those two aren’t coming after them.
11:35 AM BBT: Paul told Matt that he isn’t going to try hard, but said that if he does win it, he’s going to use it on Jason. Paul suggested that Matt throw it. Matt said he will, but asked if they should all agree to throw it to Alex. Paul said that isn’t a bad idea because they’d be making Alex do all of the heavy lifting.
Paul told Matt and Raven that when it comes to it, Mark should go home first before Elena. Raven said that they could put up Josh and Mark because Josh would throw Mark off his game. Paul said they could do that, then if Mark pulls himself down, they can put Elena up. Matt and Raven agreed with Paul that they need to keep Josh around as long as possible.
12:50 PM BBT: Elena asked Matt if he’d use the veto on her. Matt said that he’d ask what Alex wants him to do since it’s her HOH, but said that Elena doesn’t have anything to worry about. Elena said that she knows, but it’s that she just had to pack her bags last week and didn’t want to have to do it again after volunteering this time.
1:30 PM BBT: Kevin told Paul about his conversation with Cody, telling him that when Cody asked if there was a chance he was going to stay, Kevin told him. Kevin told Paul that Cody has a daughter that he has kept from the house. Kevin said that Cody should have told them from the beginning, but Cody thought that the house would use it against him. Paul said that it would have helped Cody if people knew he had a daughter. Kevin told Paul that he doesn’t want this getting around, so he asked Paul not to say anything. Paul agreed not to.
2:00 PM BBT: Josh told Paul that he wants this conversation to stay between them, but said that he has seen how close Jason and Mark have gotten. Josh explained that during his HOH, he saw Mark and Jason talking over the chess board for a while without ever moving any pieces. Josh said that Jason is naive and doesn’t see how Mark is working him. Josh told Paul not to say anything because this will be solved by just getting Mark out. Paul insisted that Josh should tell Alex so that she puts him in check, but Josh didn’t want to. Eventually Josh relented and said that he will tell Alex, just not now.
2:20 PM BBT: Paul told Alex that Josh is concerned about how close Jason and Mark are. Alex explained that Jason is just feeling bad because Mark keeps using the deal they made on day one against him. Alex said that Jason, Josh, and Mark made a final three on that first day. Paul said that Josh denied that ever happening, but Alex said that she knows it did. Alex told Paul that she’s aware of the relationship he’s talking about and she isn’t worried about it.
Alex told Paul that Mark is driving her nuts. Paul said that they should get him out. Alex said that they should get Elena out if it’s a double eviction so that they could then pull Mark in to help get Matt and Raven out. Alex said once that deed is done, they can backdoor Mark.

4:55 PM BBT: Upset about Elena taking the $5000 from Alex, Alex, Christmas, Jason, and Josh mulled over the idea of getting out Elena this week over Cody since he would remain a target. Josh pushed hard for it, calling Elena greedy, selfish, and disloyal, but the idea of getting Cody out quickly resurfaced.
5:15 PM BBT: Cody told Elena that she’s crazy for taking the $5000, but said that he’s happy that she did because he would have done the same thing. Elena asked if doing that is probably going to make her a bigger target than she already is. Cody said yes. Cody told Elena that every time the majority alliance does something, it’s justified, but when they do something, it’s wrong. Elena told Cody that she’s going to be on the block next to him because Matt isn’t going to use the veto on her. Cody said that Matt is dumb.
5:30 PM BBT: Kevin told Elena that America would have thought she was stupid if she didn’t take the $5,000. Elena said that the veto was supposed to be used on her and now it isn’t. Kevin said that it doesn’t matter because she isn’t going home. Elena said that being a pawn makes her feel disposable.
5:35 PM BBT: Paul told Matt to use the veto on Jason. Matt said that as long as that is what Alex wants, that’s what he’ll do. Alex said that is what she wants.
5:35 PM BBT: Elena had a conversation with Mark about being disposable and pondered the idea of going rogue and targeting Alex and Paul. You can read the full recap of that conversation by clicking here.
5:55 PM BBT: Paul asked Elena if she’s going to be good. Elena said yes, then asked them if she’s going to be good this week. Paul said yes, that she just needs to calm down. Mark asked Paul who is going to be the target once Cody is out. Paul said that he doesn’t know, stating that they haven’t had a group discussion on it yet.
6:00 PM BBT: Paul told Kevin to remember that Cody turned his back on them. Kevin said that he’s voting Cody out and that there isn’t anything going on between him and Cody. Kevin told Paul to tell people that and that they were the ones kissing Cody’s ass in the beginning, not him.
6:10 PM BBT: Elena asked Matt what is going to happen when Cody leaves. Matt said that he doesn’t know. Elena told him that she’s the pawn for the second week in a row and is the most disposable person in the house if the main plan doesn’t end up working. Elena said that things are going to be very different when Cody is out. Matt agreed, but said in a good way. Elena said that she doesn’t know who she can trust and that the only person she can count on to not vote her out is Mark. Matt said the only person he can count on is Raven.
Matt told Elena that he doesn’t care about winning anymore because his goal was to just get to jury and get Raven as far as he could. Elena said that was her goal too, but said that it would still be nice to win. Elena said that she needs to stay in the house as long as possible because she needs to maximize exposure since she wants to work in the entertainment industry after.
6:30 PM BBT: Matt told Raven that no matter who wins the next HOH, they should be fine, but said that things are probably going to blow up once Cody is out of the house. Matt said that nobody knows how close they are to Paul, stating that he just told Elena that the only person that he trusts is Raven.
7:35 PM BBT: Josh told Alex that he knows she’s upset with Elena for taking the $5000 from her, but said that he doesn’t think that they should act on taking Elena out this week. Alex agreed. Josh said that Elena taking the money hows everyone how selfish and greedy she is. Alex said that if Elena keeps being a bitch, they’re going to have to send her home this week.
9:35 PM BBT: After her punishment finally arrived, Alex told Christmas, Jason, Paul, and Raven about Elena promising not to curse her, then doing it anyway. Alex said that Elena is the greediest son of a bitch in the house. Alex added that she’d actually be enjoying the punishment if she earned it, but instead she got it via Elena breaking a promise. Josh told Alex that she can be as salty as she wants, just asked her not to make a dumb decision when it comes to who she wants to evict.
10:40 PM BBT: Paul told Raven that they’re voting out Cody this week. Raven agreed, then confirmed that Matt feels the same. Raven told Paul that Elena said that if Alex had seen Big Brother before, she would have known that the last punishment is always the worst.
10:45 PM BBT: Christmas asked why Elena hasn’t been more apologetic about it. Paul said that Elena doesn’t know how to react and is only making next week’s target easier. Paul added that they can’t let Cody reinsert himself then have to try again to take him out later. Christmas asked why Kevin has been trying to save Cody. Paul said that he doesn’t know, but said that they’d all be stupid to not send Cody out this week. Paul added that they have the four votes to evict Cody in him, Christmas, Josh and Raven.
11:35 PM BBT: Paul told Jason that they can’t let Cody slip by this week. Jason agreed, saying that they must stick to the plan. Paul told Jason that he’ll be the one getting pulled off so that they can let Elena get scared a little. Josh said that Cody is a more lethal player while everyone is onto Elena’s game now.
11:40 PM BBT: Cody asked Kevin if what Elena did might change the outcome of this week. Kevin said that it should, but he doesn’t know. Kevin added that Cody’s best bet is to try to get Matt out. Cody said that he’s sure that Matt is just going to talk to Alex. Kevin suggested that Cody should go talk to Alex too.
11:50 PM BBT: Paul told Alex, Christmas, Jason, Josh, Matt, and Raven that they now have a reason to put Elena up next week. Matt said that they should stay focused, stating that Mark needs to go before Elena because he is winning competitions and is more shady. Paul said that they can just put Mark and Elena both up to ensure one of them goes.
11:55 PM BBT: Alex told Jason and Josh that Kevin is pretending to be a frail old man and they shouldn’t fall for it. Josh said that Kevin hasn’t done anything to make him worry, but Cody, Elena, and Mark have. Alex said that they shouldn’t talk any more game in front of Kevin. Jason told them that Kevin said there is another person in the house with a daughter, to which Alex correctly guessed it was Cody. Jason said that he thinks that Kevin has been making all of this up because he hasn’t even been talking to Cody. Alex said that they should call Cody out because Kevin has been saying this story to everyone. Alex added that they just need to put Kevin in check. Jason said that they already checked Kevin and has since retracted what he has been saying.
12:15 AM BBT: Mark told Kevin that he knows that he’s going to be the main target when Cody leaves. Kevin said that it’s true that Mark is up on the last, probably between the main and third main target. Kevin added that Alex is very mad at Elena. Mark said he knows and that he doesn’t know why it happened the way it did.
1:00 AM BBT: Mark told Elena that they have to win on Thursday, telling her about what Kevin said about not knowing what happened with him and now he became a big target. Mark added that Kevin also said that what happened with Elena today helped him. Mark told Elena that she’s not getting voted out this week. Elena said at some point she is, but Mark said that the two of them are making final two. Mark said that all they have to do is win HOH and secure and alliance with Matt and Raven or Jason, Alex, and Kevin for a week or two. Elena said that she thinks they could lock down Matt and Raven, but said that she just doesn’t want to. Mark said they don’t have any other options.
Elena told Mark that she’d like to get Alex out and work with Jason, but said that Jason wouldn’t want to. Elena said that she’s been throwing HOH competitions this whole time, but that is stopping next week. Mark said that they need to lock down Matt and Raven. Elena said she didn’t want to work with them and said they can still have their thing with Paul. Mark reiterated that it needs to be Matt and Raven. Elena said they could use Josh, but Mark had to remind her that Josh just put them up together. Mark told Elena that he’ll talk to Matt, she’ll talk to Raven, Cody will go home, and he’s going to win the next HOH. Mark said that he doesn’t want to waste his HOH on Josh or Christmas, but said that they can’t take out Matt, Raven, or Paul either. Elena said to backdoor Alex, to which Mark agreed. Elena added that the two pawns can be Josh and Paul. Elena finally said that she’s over Paul and wants to call him out about hearing he’s working with certain people.
4:40 AM BBT: Cody asked Alex if there was any way that she wouldn’t put up a replacement nominee, to which Alex said that she doesn’t have the power to prevent Matt from using his veto. Cody asked her to just consider it, saying that he could be a weapon for her moving forward.
