It was without a doubt the most hectic day in the Big Brother house of the summer yesterday, so it’ll be hard for today to compete, but there is still plenty of drama to happen when it comes to strained relationships in the house such as Mark vs Josh and Cody vs Paul. The veto competition is also today, but that’s all for nothing, as Jessica will be using her Halting Hex this week.
9:30 AM BBT: Mark told Cody that Elena is wanting to keep a distance from him. Cody said that he doesn’t know if he and Jessica can patch things up, but said that he doesn’t see it coming back to the way things were before. Mark asked Cody if he studied for the veto, but Cody said that he’s not paying attention because it doesn’t matter.
10:15 AM BBT: Paul chose Alex, Christmas, and Elena to be have-nots since they’re the only ones who haven’t gone on slop yet.
10:20 AM BBT: Jason told Paul that Jessica and Cody probably have it worked out to where she isn’t going to use her temptation on Cody. Paul said that if he wins the veto, he’s going to be using it on Jason. Jason said he feels like Christmas and Elena would vote him off if he’s on the block come Thursday, but Paul said that wouldn’t matter since it’s only two votes. Paul said that Christmas was annoying last night and would always make things about her.
10:55 AM BBT: Kevin and Raven were picked to play alongside Paul, Cody, Jessica, and Jason in the POV competition.
10:55 AM BBT: Josh told Mark that unless Mark messes with him again, he’s done messing with Mark. Josh said that he’s not going to mess with Mark anymore because he knows it’s bothering him. He said that he knows it’s a coward move for Josh to try to provoke Mark into knocking him out and that he isn’t going to do that. Mark said that he appreciates that.
11:20 AM BBT: Kevin asked Alex if she believes that Cody is man enough to send himself home for Jessica. Alex said no. Alex questioned the possibility of Cody and Jessica lying to them this whole time about the curse and that it actually doesn’t matter. Jason and Kevin joined them, which is when Alex said that it seemed like Elena was defending Jessica when they were all up in the HOH room. Paul said that the reason Elena was doing that was to make sure that they don’t just target Jessica right away because Elena would have a guilty conscience.
11:35 AM BBT: Alex told Jason that if Jessica doesn’t have the temptation, they’re going to look like idiots for giving Jessica and extra week of safety by targeting Cody. Jason said that if he wins HOH, he’ll put up Christmas and Jessica. Alex said that there is no way that they should give Jessica four weeks of safety.
11:40 AM BBT: Kevin told Jason that if he wins, he’ll use the veto on Jason, but only if Jason makes him eggs for breakfast.
12:15 PM BBT: Elena asked Mark for his thoughts on Jessica and Cody. Mark said that he told Cody that he loves him and that he can’t wait for the two of them to be friends outside of the show, but said that he let Cody know that he can’t be associated with him in the game anymore and needs to stay away. Elena told Mark that if she acts a certain way when she’s around him in front of people, it’s only because she needs people to perceive that they have separated.
12:25 PM BBT: Paul told Christmas that he believes that Jessica wants people to feel bad for her, stating that she’s going to be crying all week. Christmas said that she likes Jessica personally, but agreed that she’s going to want to be the victim.
12:40 PM BBT: Cody told Elena that because he wasn’t himself, this was the most miserable week than he and Jessica have had so far in the game and in their relationship. Elena told Cody about her and Mark’s struggles, saying that if Mark is genuinely interested, she knows that the two of them can explore a relationship once they’re outside of the house. Elena added that she’s not breaking up with Mark, just distancing herself some.
Cody told Elena that Jessica isn’t letting him sacrifice his game for her. Elena asked if that meant that Jessica is going to use her temptation, to which Cody said he thinks so. Cody said that he thought about being mean to Jessica in hopes of her being willing to let him be taken out, since he knows that would help her game, but said that he doesn’t know if Jessica would buy it.
12:55 PM BBT: Christmas asked Paul how he feels about Mark and Elena. Paul said that he feels good right now, but next week, he said that he isn’t going to have any sympathy. Christmas told Paul that she just wants him to know how good Elena’ social game is. Paul said that he isn’t a fool to it.
Alex joined Paul and Christmas. Paul told them he believes that only one person gets to use the temptation and if they didn’t evict Jessica, Cody would be gone for sure. Alex said that Jessica could be bluffing and they could evict her instead. Paul said he was thinking that too, but said that sending Jessica home could activate the temptation.
1:05 PM BBT: Elena told Christmas, Matt, Paul and Raven that Cody said that he wants to sacrifice his game for Jessica, but he doesn’t know if Jessica will let him by her not using the temptation.
1:05 PM BBT: Cody told Jessica about Elena trying to figure out or not if she should distance herself from Mark. Jessica said that she couldn’t distance herself from Cody because that would hurt her personally. Cody told her that he just always wants Jessica to have his back, stating that he knows that she does get pissed off at him at times. Jessica told Cody that it hurt her feelings having to go through what she did yesterday, stating that Cody had a right to be upset, but that the degree to which he was upset wasn’t justified.
Jessica told Cody that despite being in this position with him again, she would still never have any hand in his eviction. Jessica said that she’s going to keep standing next to Cody because he makes her happy more than he makes her mad. Jessica said that he had a nightmare that he went after Christmas. Cody said that he’d never go after a girl verbally like he did Paul. Jessica said that the only people she actually enjoys talking to is him, Elena, Mark, Christmas, and Matt.
Cody told Jessica that if he doesn’t win HOH next week, he’s going home. Jessica said that if Cody doesn’t win safety from the veto, she’ll be the one going out, but said that she’s okay with that.
1:20 PM BBT: Paul told Matt that if it actually is a dud week, Jessica will have pissed off the entire house because she just delayed who is going to make it to jury or not. Matt agreed, stating that it could end up costing Jessica her jury stipend.
1:25 PM BBT: Jessica told Kevin that nobody had to stay up and that they all studied for nothing. Kevin asked if she’s going to use her temptation. Jessica said that she hasn’t decided yet, saying that part of her wants Cody to leave, while the other part wants him to stay. Kevin said that he warned Cody to be ready since people are going to be head hunting for him each week. Jessica said that she likes going down fighting, not rolling over and playing dead. Kevin asked if the temptation is over once she uses it once. Jessica said yes, that she only has it for one more week after this if she didn’t use it. Jessica told Kevin that if people want to take out Cody, they should do it themselves.
2:05 PM BBT: Kevin told Alex, Jason, Josh, and Paul that Jessica and Cody didn’t study for a minute and asked why they all studied at all. Paul said that he’s going to tell Jessica that the clear target is Cody and that with him gone, she’ll be fine, but if she doesn’t let him leave, he can’t promise her jury at this point. Paul added that Matt said himself that Jessica would become the main target ahead of Cody by using the temptation this week.
2:10 PM BBT: Paul told Mark and Elena that they’re going to tell Jessica that if she uses the temptation, people are going to come after her and not Cody. Mark said that he doesn’t know why Jessica would use it. Paul said that Kevin told him that Jessica is the one trying to convince Cody to stay and fight.
7:25 PM BBT: Paul won the POV
7:35 PM BBT: Matt, Paul, and Raven that Cody must have been studying since he came in a close fourth. Raven said that Elena had to up helped Cody study since Cody was asleep for all the forecasts. Paul said that before the veto ceremony, he’s going to have one last chat with Jessica and tell her that she’ll be fine, but if she uses the temptation, people aren’t going to take that lightly.
7:55 PM BBT: Paul told Elena and Mark that something is up because Cody couldn’t have guessed 15 correct answers. Paul asked the pair what their feelings on Cody and Jessica are. Mark said that Cody’s mindset from yesterday has changed and that Jessica and Cody are better now. Paul said that he’s going to tell Jessica that if she uses her Hex, she’d be preventing nine people from going to jury and that is going to make the target jump from Cody to her. Paul said that with Jessica using the Hex, he wouldn’t be the person people are pissed at and Paul said that he’d just play in the Temptation Competition.
8:05 PM BBT: Mark and Elena had a relationship conversation where Elena told him that she’s going to have to start separating herself from him, but said that this doesn’t make her feelings for him change anything. Mark said that this pivot would leave him alone, but Elena said that they don’t have to be a showmance for them to have each other’s back. When Mark asked if she would at least stay in his HOH room if he won, Elena said no.
8:05 PM BBT: Paul told Christmas about what he plans on saying to Jessica about her Hex. Christmas warned Paul to not be aggressive, but said to tell Jessica that if nobody goes home, there will be one more person who goes home before Jury, which means that she’d be targeted next.
8:30 PM BBT: Mark told Paul about Elena wanting to separate herself from him since he’s not good for her game. Mark said that he knows he needs to separate himself from Cody, but asked what he could do other than that to fix his game. Paul said that Cody and Jessica are public enemy are #1 and #2, so he should stop hanging around them because people think that they’re talking game even if they aren’t and said for Mark to just lay low and give Elena some space while she needs it. Paul said that Mark and Elena can date outside the house, but inside the house, Mark isn’t offering Elena anything and she might dip. Mark told Paul that he’s the only one he feels like he can have a real talk with.
9:05 PM BBT: Kevin told Paul that from now on, the two of them have to play as hard as in the competitions to keep each other safe. Kevin asked Paul if Raven told him that she wants Raven, Matt, Paul, Jason, and Alex as a final five. Paul said he doesn’t remember, but said that he thought it was Raven who told him that it was Alex who wanted that final five. Paul told Kevin that he stays out of those conversations because it’s too early to be talking that far down the line because you could get caught.
Paul told Kevin that he’s going to make Cody miserable because of his childish behavior yesterday. Kevin said that if Jessica takes Cody off, they won’t have an eviction. Paul said he’s going to wait for better answers because that wouldn’t make any sense. Paul said that he’s sending Cody home this week and that when Cody was gone the first time, Jessica was finally blooming when it came to her social game.
10:15 PM BBT: Elena chose the wrong have-not temptation box and will now have to serve two weeks as a have-not.
10:55 PM BBT: Matt told Raven that he prays to God that Mark and Elena would have the common sense to put up Cody and Jessica if either of them were to get power, but said that he still doesn’t think that Elena is wanting to win HOH. Matt said that if Raven did get put up, he doesn’t believe that she’d be the target and that it would either be him or Paul possibly going home. Matt told Raven that even if Cody and Jessica were to win HOH, he doesn’t believe the two of them would be targeted and instead it would probably be two of Christmas, Josh, and Paul.
Raven told Matt that Elena brought up how if Cody went home, they would have to honor the promise to Jessica to keep her safe. Matt said that nobody said they’d honor that promise. Raven said that she believes that Elena is playing but sides, but that her overall interests lean more towards Paul. Matt said that he’s willing to take Alex to the final five and said that it’s weird how much control Alex has over Jason.
11:40 PM BBT: Jason told Kevin that Raven is trying to make it look like it was Alex who brought up a final five deal between Alex, Jason, Matt, Raven, and Paul.
12:20 AM BBT: Paul told Mark and Elena that the only question the DR answered about Jessica’s temptation is that nobody in the house has three weeks of safety, which Paul said brings the rest of her temptation into question. Paul said that he thinks he has enough puzzle pieces to Jessica’s temptation to where he doesn’t even need to talk to her anymore.
