Big Brother 19: Day 20 Recap

The veto meeting was today, which means that nominees will be locked in and some campaigning for Thursday will begin, but we can’t expect too much as this week’s eviction is pretty much a foregone conclusion and nearly all of the game talk will be planning for next week’s targets.

11:30 AM BBT: Paul used the veto on Josh and nominated Cody as the replacement nominee.

11:30 AM BBT: Jessica told Josh that he’s a pawn for both sides and that everyone is just going to use him. Josh said that she’s going to be going home before him, to which Jessica said bring it.

11:35 AM BBT: Christmas told Josh to just ignore Cory and Jessica completely because he gives them power back by believing the things they’re telling him.

11:35 AM BBT: Jessica told Cody that Josh is a puppet for both sides and was shaking the entire speech because he was terrified to address Cody. Jessica said that Christmas would be nothing without Paul and that she hasn’t done anything in the game. Cody agreed, saying that Christmas has just been riding Paul’s coat tails.

11:40 AM BBT: Jason asked Paul if the vote is going to be a landslide. Paul said yes, that it should be 10-1 to evict Cody. Jason said that if it isn’t a landslide, he wasn’t the one who flipped, but Paul told him that there shouldn’t be any reason anyone flips their vote.

11:45 AM BBT: Paul told Christmas that they need to keep their distance from each other so that it’s not obvious the two of them are so close. Paul told her that he has her back, to which Christmas said she has his as well.

11:50 AM BBT: Paul told Kevin that Ramses has been telling people that Kevin has been giving him information. Kevin told Paul that he knows better than to believe that because Kevin said he doesn’t even talk to Ramses. Paul told Kevin that he needs him to vote to evict Ramses because it’ll sow confusion and cause chaos, all while nobody suspects that it was Kevin. Kevin said that Paul doesn’t have to say any more and that he’ll do it.

11:55 AM BBT: Jason told Paul that he wants to be on the team. Paul told him that Jason needs to be more careful because he’s on people’s radars now, saying that if Jason doesn’t get a better understanding of the game, Paul won’t be able to continue to work with him because it’ll sink his ship. Paul told Jason that his best bet would be to win HOH and put up Ramses and Jessica. Jason said that is exactly what he’s planning on doing.

Jason told Paul that he’s going to win the game and that there is just no way for people to beat him. Paul said that the odds are stacked against him since he’s the only vet and said that he knows there will come a time when the house bands together to get him out. Jason told Paul that he wants to make an alliance, but Paul told him that there isn’t an alliance and that Paul just works with people who has has built trust with.

12:30 PM BBT: Paul told Dominique that he’s starting to want Ramses out before Jessica. Dominique said that she’s on board, stating that it’s personal for her now because she doesn’t like what Ramses has been doing.

12:30 PM BBT: Jason told Kevin that he wants to make sure that he isn’t thinking any less of him. Kevin said he isn’t, stating that he doesn’t talk to anybody else. Jason said for Kevin to not believe anything anyone tells him. Kevin said he wouldn’t, that the only other person he talks to is Paul and it’s Paul who does all the talking.

12:35 PM BBT: Jason asked Mark if the two of them are still good. Mark said that they are, but that Jason lied about his vote last Thursday. Jason said that he tried telling him beforehand. Jason told him that everyone was saying that he needed to put Mark and Matt up. Mark asked if Alex was the one saying that, to which Jason denied. Mark told Jason that he trusts him and that the two of them are straight.

12:45 PM BBT: Paul told Christmas, Matt, Elena, Alex, Josh, and Raven that he believes Ramses is going to be a bigger threat to them next week than Jessica is, but said that he’s only giving suggestions and that whoever gets power can do what they want.

3:05 PM BBT: Josh told Mark that moving forward, he wants to continue to be in the game, but said that Mark knows that he’s all alone. Mark said that he told Josh from day one that he likes him and wanted to work with him, adding that he’s a very loyal person. Josh told Mark that all he can do now is show how loyal he is and how honest he’ll be with him. Mark said that the two targets for the next two weeks will be Jessica and James, making Josh safe for at least 2-3 weeks, but added that Josh is safe for even longer than that in Mark’s book.

3:20 PM BBT: Kevin told Mark that he’s glad the two of them made a pact when they first met. Mark agreed, saying that regardless of where the house goes, that pact doesn’t change.

3:25 PM BBT: Josh told Paul that he completely trusts him and hopes that Paul sees that trust. Paul thanked him for going up as a pawned, saying that the next people on the agenda are Ramses, Jessica, and Jason, so Paul said that Josh should be fine. Paul added that Josh he’s doing really well because people have started to say that Josh has been improving.

Josh told Paul that if he ever feels something fishy is up, Paul should come directly to Josh to address whatever the issue is. Paul told him that they both made it to jury as long as Josh stays the course and keeps his head down.

3:35 PM BBT: Paul began talking to the camera, saying that he has to lay low and let the rest of the house do their thing as they continue to screw their own games up. Paul explained how he turned everyone against Cody by playing the victim after Cody tried backdooring him for spreading the idea that Cody threw the veto to Alex.

3:45 PM BBT: Alex told Jason that Paul said he spoke to him and thinks that Jason understands that he shouldn’t hang out with Cody and Jessica at all. Alex said that the other side is convinced that Kevin voted for Christmas to stay. Jason said that there was no way. Jason asked if he should win HOH to put up Jessica and Ramses or should he let someone else win it. Alex said that they need to win it so that they can show their allegiance to Paul’s group. Alex explained that they have to be extremely nice to Christmas for the time being, but eventually take her out. Alex explained that Christmas is who Paul wants his duo to be with and said that she believes Paul is keeping her at a distance because he knows that Christmas is crazy and could blow up.

3:50 PM BBT: Josh warned Jason not to talk with Cody and Jessica in a closed room and get caught. Josh added that they need to gun for the HOH and do what the house wants for the next two weeks because once they get to jury, that is when the game really starts.

4:10 PM BBT: Dominique told Matt that while she wants Ramses out on a personal level, she believes that Jessica is the bigger threat when it comes to a game-level and is a much bigger physical threat than Ramses.

5:05 PM BBT: Mark told Matt that they should put Jessica and Ramses up, saying that he doesn’t see one as being a bigger threat than the other, so it wouldn’t matter which went home. Matt agreed, saying that Ramses ruined his credibility in the house, so nobody is going to listen to him. Mark said that if it was his choice, it would be Jessica following Cody out the door sot that they would have to face each other in the battle back if there was one.

6:15 PM BBT: Christmas returns from the doctor. She said that she’s going to have Surgery on Wednesday and will be returning to the house.

6:20 PM BBT: Christmas and Jessica have their first sit down conversation since the blow up after Thursday’s eviction. Read the full recap by clicking here

7:35 PM BBT: Kevin told Jason that Ramses and Jason will go, then he believes that Josh will be next. Kevin warned that after those people are gone, they might come after Jason. Jason said that they’ll need to get Paul on their side if either of them are to win HOH. Jason asked who they should put up, but Kevin said that they’d have to think about it. Jason said that people can think he’ll be the first one to jury all they want, but said that they have no idea what’s going to happen from now till then.

8:30 PM BBT: Paul asked Alex, Christmas, and Dominique if the plan for next week was still Ramses and Jessica, to which each of the girls said yes. Dominique said that if Ramses was ever going to come after her, it would probably be her. Paul asked if everyone has concluded that it was Ramses who took the $25,000 the first day. Alex said yes, saying that it wasn’t Kevin because Kevin was taking off his clothes while the button was being pressed. Dominique said that Ramses was next week’s target, but Christmas said that it was Jessica.

10:45 PM BBT: Alex told Jason that he needs to win HOH and follow the plan of nominating Ramses and Jessica, adding that if he doesn’t, he’ll be screwing them both. Jason said that he wants Jessica out too. Alex said that Ramses is going to try to get with Paul’s group because they have the numbers, so he’ll nominate the two of them if he ever gets power. Alex added that Paul is on board with getting Ramses out first over Jessica.

10:50 PM BBT: Jason told Kevin that Ramses got the $25,000 from the first day of the summer. Alex also told Kevin that Ramses is trying to pin the eviction of Jillian on him too. Kevin told Alex and Jason that they’ll be able to get them all out easily with their new group between them three, Mark, and Paul.

12:00 AM BBT: Jessica told Cody that she doesn’t want him thinking that she has just given up on the idea of him staying in the house. Cody said that he doesn’t think that, adding that there isn’t a fight to be had when the legs were cut out from beneath him like they were this week.
