It’s eviction day in the Big Brother house, which means that another houseguest’s game will come to a close and they’ll be sent to the jury house. We’re here now to break down today’s vote to tell you who’s likely to be evicted and why the houseguests are doing so.
Going into this eviction, you’d think that getting Liz out would be the obvious choice, as she is the stronger competitor, in a showmance with Austin, and is the only thing holding the alliance between Austin and Julia together; However, it seems as though this week’s voters have something a little different in mind.
Austin, John, and Vanessa all promised the twins that they’d let them decide which twin that was going to go, though the reason John and Vanessa did so was because they were expecting Liz to let Julia stay since she wasn’t such a target, thus letting them evict Liz without taking the blame for it. That all changed mid-week after relentless campaigning from Austin to the twins about why it would be better for Liz to stay, which ended up working and Julia told Liz that she needed to stay because she could actually win the game, unlike herself who would only be playing for second place at best.
When Vanessa first heard about this, she was on the fence, telling the twins that is fine, but she’s going to have to make sure that Steve was okay with it because she promised him earlier in the week that she’d vote how he wanted since he left her off the block. After thinking about it, Vanessa figured that keeping Liz would be a good idea because she’s a bigger target, she won’t get dragged along to the end for the easy win like Julia would, and this way she’d be protected by anyone in the house, as both Austin and Liz won’t target her, John and Steve won’t target her, and even if one of the four were to get taken out, the only from the other side would have no choice but to be loyal to her.
It didn’t take much to convince John that they should keep Liz, which is all she needed to ensure that John and Steve wouldn’t be mad at her for voting out Julia. Vanessa explained her reasoning to Steve, who had no choice but to be on board as he can’t vote, and going against what everyone else wanted wouldn’t be good for him going into a week where he can’t compete in the HOH. That all being said, we’re predicting it’s going to be a unanimous vote to keep Liz. Let us know who you think is going home by casting a vote in our poll below!
The ramifications of this will be huge, as neither Austin nor Liz trust Vanessa anymore, meaning if either of those two win HOH and Steve wins the veto, Vanessa is going to be in some serious trouble. Are you happy about who is likely going home tonight? Let us know in the comments below!
