There is a lot at stake for everyone remaining in the house when it comes to tonight’s Head of Household competition. Depending on who wins, it may very well determine who we’ll likely see in the final three, possibly even the final two.
Each person competing is going to have a different agenda, which is something we haven’t seen this summer. Another thing we haven’t seen this summer is that half of those who are competing have a final two deal with everyone, which means that not only would they be personally taking out someone they had a deal with, but they’d also put themselves at risk to be exposed. Since there is so many variables at play, we’re here to break them all down for you.
Being that everyone has agreed to keep Liz, we’re going to only cover the scenarios if she were to win HOH, not Julia. Liz has made it clear that she is out for revenge and is going to target Steve no matter what comes out about others. Liz made a deal with Steve, though she also said that she doesn’t plan to keep it. If Liz were to win HOH, she’d likely nominate Steve with John. If John were to win POV, she’d put up Vanessa as the replacement nominee with the intention of sending Steve home. If Steve were to win POV, she’d put up Vanessa with the intention of sending Vanessa home. If Vanessa were to win POV and take down Steve or John, she’d be forced to put up Austin, then Vanessa would control the votes and there would be nothing Liz could do about it.
With John, things are a little tricky. He seems to have gotten closer to Austin over this last week, though it’s unclear how close they actually are. That being said, if John were to win HOH, he’d likely put up Austin and Liz with the intention of getting Liz out. If Austin won POV, he’d put up Vanessa, likely with the intention to get Liz out still, though that’s unclear. If Liz were to win POV, he’d put up Vanessa, likely with the intention to get Austin out to finish off the deed of splitting up the showmance, but that is unclear as well. John has said in the past that he has no problem breaking deals, so we could very well see him target Austin and Liz without thinking twice about it.
Things start getting tricky when we get to Austin, as he’s one of the two who have a final two deal with everyone left in the house. That said, if Austin were to win HOH, he’d likely nominate John and Steve with the intention of sending Steve out. If Steve were to win veto, Austin would put up Vanessa, possibly with the intention of getting her out. If John were to win veto, Austin would put up Vanessa, likely with the intention of getting Steve out because that is what Liz will want.
We saved Vanessa for last, as she’s in the most awkward position out of the bunch. Not only does she have a final two deal with everyone, but she’s also closely aligned with both sides, something that Austin doesn’t have. Vanessa has been working with Austin and Liz the entire game, though she has said that they’d be idiots not to target the showmance next, so it’s possible that she’d put up Austin and Liz, that way one of them couldn’t win the veto with John and Steve on the block, then not use it. If either Austin or Liz were to win the veto, she’d put up Steve or John, as it wouldn’t matter who because she’d be the tie-breaker vote and she’d send home whichever original nominee remained. That all being said, the most likely scnerio is that Vanessa throws tonight’s HOH.
I’ll apologize now for the long article, but it does cover most of the scenarios that we could possibly see happen this coming week depending on who it is that wins HOH. Let us know if you think we missed a scenario, as well as telling us who you’d like to see win HOH tonight and why in the comments below!
