We’re in for somewhat of a slow day in the Big Brother house as Tuesday is typically the day where houseguests lounge by the pool and relax all day, then just wait until later in the night to start the game talk. However there is sure to be plenty of game talk coming from Vanessa all day long.
12:35 PM BBT: John asks Vanessa if her talk with Steve last night went okay. Vanessa tells him that of course it’s going to go well because he’s going to say all the right things since he’s on the block. John tells Vanessa that he wants to know if she’s only saying she’s willing to work with him for his jury vote and so that he won’t be mad at her if he does return from jury, because she already has his jury vote and he won’t be coming for her, so he just wants a straight answer. Vanessa tells him that she’s been wanting to work with him for weeks because she doesn’t have anyone else, as James has Meg, Austin has Liz, and Julia has Liz. Vanessa tells him that they’ll talk more later because she has some things she wants to clear up.
1:45 PM BBT: Vanessa tells Steve that it’s best for them to act pissed at each other right now, so she’s going to play up being mad and upset with him. Vanessa tells him that John is campaigning hard right now and telling her things, though she is questioning if she should tell the people who John is telling her things about. Vanessa adds that she thinks it’s best case scenario for John to return from jury because he’s willing to make big moves.
1:50 PM BBT: John tells Vanessa that he might be able to get James and Meg’s vote by telling them that he’s targeting Austin and the twins. Vanessa warns him that there is evidence that James and Meg might be working with Austwins. Vanessa tells John that the twins are going to want her to vote with them. John tells her that it could be a last minute decision where she did what she thought was best. John adds that whatever relationship she thinks she has with Austwins isn’t as good as it really is. John begins telling Vanessa about Austwins’ original plan was for him to win the HOH so that he could take her out and get the blood on his hands, not theirs. John adds that the only reason she wasn’t nominated outright this week was because she’d freak out on them, not because they trust her again. John tells her that he’s been told all week that the plan was to use the veto to get her backdoored, and if she were to win it, James would be the backup target.
John tells Vanessa that Meg and James have to realize at some point that it’s going to be the two of them vs the three of Austwins. John adds that this is the perfect opportunity because it would be the 5 of them going into this HOH facing off against only Liz. Vanessa tells John that it was Austin’s decision not to use the veto. John tells her that he believes her, but says that Austin is pinning on the blame on her.
5:15 PM BBT: Vanessa tells Austin and Liz that John’s campaign strategy is to tell James, Meg, and her that she’s going after Austwins, so that way people want to keep him because he’s willing to do their dirty work. Vanessa tells them that they can let James and Meg think that she’ll vote for John as a test of trust to see where they stand, along with possibly giving them a reason to target them. Liz tells Vanessa that John is a snake because he said the same thing about her (Vanessa) when she (Liz) was HOH. Austin tells Vanessa that he’s worried about testing James and Meg like this and them ending up on the other side of the vote, then James and Meg start gunning for them. Vanessa tells them that this is a trust builder to see if James and Meg tell them about John’s plan. Liz tells Austin and Vanessa that they can’t tell Julia about this because she wouldn’t be able to contain herself. Austin tells them that he’ll be shocked if James and Meg flipped because they’d be declaring war all for John.
6:35 PM BBT: John tells Vanessa that he feels like he’ll be able to get James and Meg’s vote easier than he’d be able to get the twins’. John asks why the twins want to hear from him. Vanessa tells him that he needs to tell them that he’s not going to target them. Vanessa adds that Austin mentioned him being the pawn next to the returning juror, so he could offer that before Austin brings it up himself. Vanessa tells John that he thinks that Austwins are open minded to the chance of taking out Steve. John tells Vanessa that if he joins James and Meg, he could put up whoever he wants. Whereas if he joins Austwins, they’re going to want to control every thing he does. Vanessa tells John that it’s easier for her to vote with the twins than it would be to vote with James and Meg. John asks her if he’d prefer her to try and get the twins on board. Vanessa tells him yes because it would be easier for her to flip. Vanessa tells John that he is seen as more connected to the people in jury, so if were to return, he’d possibly work with him. Vanessa tells him that he needs to address that.
6:45 PM BBT: James, Meg, and Julia discuss who to evict this week. Julia told them that they need to come to a mutual decision. Meg agreed and said that it’s going to be a win win regardless of which it is that goes home. Julia tells her that John has the better chance of linking up with a returning juror to target them.
7:05 PM BBT: Vanessa tells Julia and Liz that John’s targets are set in stone, he’s willing to target anyone as long as he stays. Vanessa adds that John said Steve is just as close to Becky, as well as all the other turning jurors as he is. Julia tells her that she can’t believe that John still wants to be in the game and won’t just roll over and die already.
7:50 PM BBT: Meg tells James that she agrees that Austwins are likely trying to get John and Steve to target the two of them, but says she doesn’t think Steve or John would actually do that. Meg adds that John and Steve saying that they’d put them up doesn’t scare her because they have no other option than to say that right now. James tells her that Vanessa knows one of them is staying and she is making sure whoever it is will be on their side. Meg tells him that they need someone to return from jury and do their dirty work. James tells her that maybe someone who returns will nominate Austin and Liz. James adds that the jurors have been in the jury house long enough to realize who’s running the house.
8:00 PM BBT: Vanessa tells Austin that John told her that Steve is just as close to Becky as he is, and even closer to Shelli. Vanessa adds that John is willing to throw the next HOH as well as being the pawn next to whoever it is that returns from jury. Austin asks if they want to keep Steve and him try to win the HOH, or do they want to keep John and have him throw the HOH. Vanessa tells him that the concern with Steve is that he doesn’t want blood on his hands and won’t make a big move. Vanessa tells Austin that John doesn’t have any information on them, and doesn’t have anything personal against him. Vanessa adds that Steve would respect the game move and would have no choice but to work with them again if he returned from jury. Vanessa says that there is a part of her that doesn’t want this to be the most predictable show ever, so they should flip the vote. Austin tells her that he could see himself being taken out of the game by Steve. Vanessa tells him with Steve gone, there won’t be many people left who are actually playing the game.
10:30 PM BBT: Liz tells Austin that Vanessa wants to do what is best for her game, not what’s best for theirs. Austin tells her that Vanessa won’t go against them. Julia tells them that John could offer her a million dollars and she still wouldn’t vote to keep him. Austin tells them that there is new information about Steve being as close to Becky and Shelli are John was. Austin adds that John said he was willing to make a deal where he throws the HOH and is their pawn, which is a pretty good offer. Austin tells the twins that Steve will come after them just like John would, but he’d do it in a different way like Ian did to Boogie in BB14.
10:45 PM BBT: Austin tells James that if John tells him that he’d put up James and Meg if he were to win HOH, he’ll be sure to tell them about it. Austin adds that if John is willing to throw the next HOH and be their pawn, that is a really good deal that they should consider. James tells Austin that it would be a lot better to have John win this game over another Ian Terry. Austin tells him that Steve is smarter than John, that Steve knows he was put up because Austin is closer with Meg and James. Austin adds that he feels like John is more connected to the jury, which is scary. Austin tells James that he could see John winning an HOH and going crazy by nominating the two of them. Meg joins temporarily and Austin tells her that they’re hoping John offers to throw the HOH and be a pawn to get out the returning juror.
10:50 PM BBT: Julia tells Liz that she truly doesn’t believe that Steve is as close to Becky and Shelli as John is. Julia adds that they know Steve wouldn’t put them up, but she’s scared that Vanessa will talk to James and Meg, then act like they want Steve out. Julia tells Liz that the only argument to get out Steve instead of James is that he’s more capable of winning comps. Vanessa joins the girls and tells them that the only reason she considers keeping John is because of how bad of a player he is. Liz asks if they should make Steve agree to throw the next HOH. Vanessa tells her that he wouldn’t do that regardless of what he tells them. Julia tells them that she just had an epiphany about what Becky told Steve when she hugged him, so maybe they are closer than they think. Liz tells them that her gut is telling her to get out John, so the conversation their about to have with him will seal his fate either way.
11:05 PM BBT: Meg tells Steve that if he stays and Jackie returns, she thinks that Jackie would use him as a pawn, but not actually target him.
11:15 PM BBT: Liz tells John that her and Julia are likely going to vote with Vanessa, which means the votes come down to them three, so she’d like to get a feel for where his head is at. John tells them that he has no more game talk left, that they can just tell him what they want him to do, he’ll try to get it done. John adds that he has a better chance at winning the physical competitions for them, meanwhile all the comps that Steve would win could also be won by Vanessa. Liz tells him that they just want to make sure that he’s not coming after them. John tells her that if he stays and wins HOH, nobody from Austwins would touch the block. John tells them that if they want to get the juror out that returns, it would be doable.
11:35 PM BBT: Julia and Liz tell Austin about their conversation with John. Austin says that John is desperate and will say anything. Austin tells the girls that Steve is more likely to win an HOH and he’s going to want to take out a super fan like Ian did, which would end up with him (Austin) going home. Austin says that it doesn’t matter who goes home, so they should just get Steve and John to play Rock, Paper, Scissors on live TV instead of giving eviction speeches. Vanessa joins them in the HOH room and Austin fills her in on their new idea. Vanessa tells them that they control majority vote regardless of who stays and if one of them were put up, which means they’re also going to start getting hated for controlling votes like that here soon. Vanessa adds that any of them going to the final 2 with John would win, meanwhile Steve has been set up for the perfect underdog story, so he’d win.
11:45 PM BBT: James and Meg agree that it’s fishy that Vanessa is helping Steve studying whenever they were just told by Austin and those two were currently fighting. James tells Meg that they have to get Vanessa out, but they can’t be the ones to do it because it’ll upset the twins. Meg tells him that the twins shouldn’t care since they threw Vanessa under the bus so much last week. James explains to Meg that it’s because Vanessa is their meat shield, without her in the house, Austwins are the most threatening targets. James and Meg agree that they don’t like how Vanessa will make a scene in front of the entire house when calling someone else, then storming off crying so that people feel sorry for her. Meg tells him that Steve is playing up the innocent side of him. James tells her that Steve is leaving clothes in every room as strategy so that he can have a valid reason to break up any conversation he wants.
12:20 AM BBT: Vanessa tells Liz and Julia that John coming for the two of them if he says if their most convincing argument yet. Julia tells her that she’s not going to be doing anyone’s dirty work, and if Steve were to stay, he’d put James and Meg up. Vanessa tells them that Steve is going to turn on them very soon, possibly next week or the week after.
12:25 AM BBT: Julia tells Meg and James about Austin wanting to have Steve and John play Rock, Paper, Scissors to determine who goes since it doesn’t matter which and the fact it’ll make for good TV. James tells her that they should do it. Meg asks Julia why Vanessa is studying with Steve whenever it was just last week when Vanessa freaked out about Austwins studying with her and James over something small.
12:45 AM BBT: Vanessa tells John that Austin is acting like he doesn’t care who stays or goes now, and the twins are saying they’re voting with her. John tells her that whatever she is doing seems to be working because his talk with the twins seemed to go well and felt genuine.
1:40 AM BBT: Steve tells James and Meg that he’d apperciate their votes and that they know about where his head is at after his blow up with Vanessa. Meg asks if he’s going to try and win the next HOH. Steve tells her that he is. James and Meg tell Steve that they’re just worried about being the next target because all of their allies have been sent home. Steve tells them that it wouldn’t be smart for him to reveal his targets while he’s on the block, but they could easily make intelligent guesses as to who it’d be.
