It’s the last day before the veto meeting, so today will be the deciding factor on who this week’s target will end up being. After Austin came clean to Vanessa, the dynamics have changed and Vanessa is in a new position with leverage to start making deals with everyone again, so that is what we can expect to see today.
11:45 AM BBT: Vanessa asks John if he told people that he didn’t intend to keep his deal with her. John tells her that he told people that to keep himself safe. Vanessa asks if he’s over things in regards to Clay and Becky. John tells him yes, that they’re all gone and he’s over it. Vanessa tells John that she hashed everything out with Austwins last night and now it’s fine. Vanessa tells him that she feels like people have been opportunistic when it comes to blaming her for things, so she feels victimized. John tells Vanessa that he’s lost friend after friend, but he’s been told that she’s played a part in all of it. John tells her that if she wants to work together moving forward, he’s willing because he has nobody.
Vanessa tells John that Austwins are on the fence about what to do this week, but she says that she might be able to do a lot in terms of bridge building for him. John begins explaining to Vanessa how the Clay, James, and her incident happens. John told her that James didn’t tell him anything, it was just all based on things that Audrey was building up since week 1. Vanessa tells him that this is the first time that everything has made sense to her. Vanessa adds that she has had enemies in this house, but he isn’t one of him. Vanessa tells John that it’s stupid for them to risk going after each other while the rest of the house build numbers. Austin tells him that she’s going to try hard to get Austin to target people who actually wouldn’t have their back. Vanessa tells John that she’d love to use the veto on him, she’d just has to get Austin on board to the point where he wouldn’t be mad at her for doing so. John asks Vanessa if they should still act upset with each other. Vanessa says they can act sorta uneasy. Vanessa tells him that they should tell John that they’re not mad at each other because the 3 of them could have each other’s back.
12:55 PM BBT: Vanessa tells Austin and Liz that John came clean to her about the James vs Clay incident, as well as a few other things she needed cleared up. Vanessa tells them for the first time, her and John are on the same page. Vanessa adds that she’s not going to be buddy buddies with John, they’re just not going to be enemies. Vanessa tells them that John guaranteed her that if he stayed, he would target whoever remains from James and Meg, and whoever returns from jury.
1:05 PM BBT: Austin tells John that he wants to know who is going to be loyal to him going into next week. Austin adds that Vanessa has been trying to make amends with him and has a good answer for everything. Austin tells John that Clay told him to trust him (John), and asks John about his relationship with Steve. John tells him that his alliance with Steve came from Shelli and Clay because they wanted to make a four person deal with all of them. Austin tells John that there is speculation that James and Steve have a deal because Steve didn’t nominate him during the double eviction. John tells him that Steve hasn’t told him anything about that. John tells Austin that if he keeps James, there is a chance that his group becomes 3 again, that it’s not about having anything against James, it’s just now it comes down to numbers.
Austin tells John that he needs reason to say why he question James and Meg to give if he were to try anything in regards to putting them up. John tells him that James told him he was going to throw the HOH to him. Austin tells John that James said the same to him. John tells Austin that James said he has always had his back. Austin tells him that isn’t true because he said if he won HOH this week, he was going to take John out. Austin tells John that if they were to keep him, he could be their liaison with Shelli if she were to return so that she didn’t come after him and the twins.
1:20 PM BBT: Liz tells Juila about everything that has gone on this morning in regards to John and Vanessa. Liz tells her that she doesn’t think that James, Meg, John, and Steve are working together. Liz tells her that John came clean about everything to Vanessa and now Vanessa is feeling better about John. Julia tells Liz that she might be sketched out by Steve, but they still need to keep him because anyone who returns from jury wouldn’t work with him like they would John. Liz agrees and says John is more of a threat. Julia tells her that John needs to go.
1:35 PM BBT: Vanessa, Julia, and Liz begin discussing the doubts that were put into their heads about each other. Vanessa tells them that nothing breaks her heart more than knowing they doubted her for even a second, but says that she knows why. Julia and Liz tell her that they can’t wait for her to watch the footage back because they were always sticking up for her.
2:20 PM BBT: Steve tells Vanessa that Austin had a lot of frustrations and was upset about the 8 person deal being made and them having to give their words. Steve tells her that Austin said she pushed for a deal between Austwins, her, James, and Meg. Vanessa asks Steve why he lied to her face about her not being a backdoor option when she asked after winning the veto. Steve says he made a mistake. Vanessa tells him that she’s broken words to tell him things that people have said, so she was hoping that he’d return the favor. Vanessa asks him why he was so scared to trust her. Steve tells her that he wasn’t scared of trusting her when it came to him being a pawn, it was being able to trust the twins because they make deals with so many people. Steve tells Vanessa that there is a lot of crap talking going on about her and it was coming from Austin, Julia, Liz, and Becky. Vanessa tells Steve that Jackie and James made her give her word not to tell anyone about James throwing the BOB. Vanessa continues and swears on the bible that it was Jackie who created the 8 person deal, not her.
Steve tells Vanessa that people are saying she’s rubbed them the wrong deal by the way she makes deals with so many people. Vanessa says doesn’t everyone make deals. Steve tells her that people are saying that she makes more deals that anyone else. Steve tells her about Meg being upset about the deal that Vanessa made her make during the double eviction. Vanessa says that Meg can go f*ck herself. Vanessa tells him that James hasn’t done anything wrong and shouldn’t take the fall for what Meg has done. Vanessa tells John about her and John burying the hatchet, as well as giving him her word that her final 2 deal with him is the only one she has. Vanessa tells Steve that he needs to make a final 2 deal with Austin because Austin is doubting him because of the final 2 deal he has with John.
3;10 PM BBT: Vanessa tells Austin that John only assumed that he has a final 2 deal with Steve when he really doesn’t because Steve’s ultimate loyalty is to Freaks & Geeks. Austin tells her that John has told her the same thing about it not being an official final 2. Vanessa tells her that they’re dumbasses if they keep Meg and James when they’d be able to have both John and Steve in their back pocket. Austin tells her that it would have to be James to go because whoever returns from jury would only have Meg instead of James, which would become a power duo.
4:05 PM BBT: John asks Vanessa if he should make a deal with Austin to take out Shelli if she were to return. Vanessa tells him yes, though they wouldn’t actually do that if Shelli were to return.
4:10 PM BBT: Vanessa asks Julia what her instinct says they should do. Julia tells her that they should get out John. Vanessa tells Julia about Meg crying because she wanted her out, as well as being the driving force behind trying to get her out when Liz was HOH. Julia tells her that they should get out Meg then. Vanessa tells Liz and Julia that the reason she didn’t tell them about James throwing the BOB is because it didn’t matter since Liz one it, along with James and Jackie making her give her word not to. Julia tells Vanessa that James and Meg are terrified of her. Liz tells Vanessa about Meg being upset of Vanessa making a deal with her after she was crying during the double eviction. Vanessa says that Meg is a super hypocrite because when she was on the block the week before, Meg came to her demanding her word, so Vanessa says she got the idea from Meg herself.
Vanessa tells Liz and Julia that Steve can’t go because everything he’s done has benefited them. Julia tells her that they should put James up because she’d love to see him go this week. Julia tells Steve that John seems like a very trustworthy person, so she’d like to keep him around. Steve asks if their goal is to find a way to justify using the veto to nominate James. Vanessa, Liz, and Julia confirm. Steve asks which player is the most dangerous that could come after them. Julia tells her that it’s James because Meg isn’t going to win anything. Vanessa says that Meg is a master manipulator.
5:30 PM BBT: Steve begins explaining how his final 2 deal with John was mistaken for something it wasn’t because John just assumed it was a final 2 when that was actually never spoken of. Steve asks who he thinks is the most threatening in the game moving forward. Austin tells him that it would be James. Austin tells Steve that if Vanessa used veto, it wouldn’t be his fault that James had to go up. Steve tells Austin that he believes that something will happen over the next few days that will be enough to justify voting James out over John. Austin and Steve agreed that they booth feel good about Vanessa being back in their group.
7:05 PM BBT: Austin tells Vanessa that as of right now, he doesn’t want to put up James, but that could change. Vanessa asks if he doesn’t think it would be a good option to gun for Meg. Austin tells her that he could be convinced of that. Austin tells Liz and Julia that unless he finds out something big that James has been lying about, he’s not going to put up James or Meg. Austin asks if they really want to hurt James and Meg right now. Julia told him not unless they find something out.
7:15 PM BBT: Julia tells Liz that she can’t forget that James threw the BOB while on the block for her. Julia adds that if she wins HOH next week, she’s sending James home because of that. Vanessa joins their conversation. Julia asks Vanessa what her concerns about James are. Vanessa tells her that her concerns aren’t with James, they’re with Meg. Vanessa adds that James can win competitions and he’s not on their side. Vanessa tells Julia that Meg can’t win anything, so she doesn’t know if it’s even worth going after her. Julia tells her that it’s not.
Austin joins Vanessa, Julia, and Liz’s discussion. They all agree that they need to send John home this week and keep Steve. Austin says that if Jackie returns, she’ll target Steve instead of them. Vanessa tells him that they can win a memory competition without Steve, but they need John to beat James in endurance.
7:40 PM BBT: Vanessa tells John that she needs to get Austin and the twins on board with using the veto because if not, they won’t have the votes either way. Vanessa explains that ultimately the veto getting used is Austin’s decision, not hers. John asks if she’s saying that they’re more treatening by him and Steve than they are James and Meg.
7:45 PM BBT: Vanessa asks James what he was planning on doing if he won the double eviction HOH. James tells her that he wasn’t planning on winning it to begin with because he just wanted to stay out of it. Vanessa asks if he ever mentioned targeted her. James says he hasn’t. Vanessa asks once more if he’s sure that he hasn’t told Austin that his plan wasn’t to put her up if he won HOH. James tells her that he swears and that he didn’t say he would put her up, but it was brought up in a group setting but nobody followed through. Vanessa tells James that Meg is trying to make her seem like the evil deal maker because she made a deal with Meg when she was crying during the double eviction, even though Meg did the same to her 24 hours earlier. James tells Vanessa that Meg is just emotional.
Vanessa asks James if the plan is to nominate whoever returns from jury with whoever currently nominated stays this week. James tells her that is what he assuming, though he planned to come to them to discuss the plan if he won HOH because he wouldn’t make a decision without them included. Vanessa asks James for advice on how to talk with Meg and get back on her good side. James tells her to approach Meg like she approaches him, just talk game with her, and be girls with her.
8:30 PM BBT: Vanessa tells Meg that it has come to her attention that it bothered her when she made a deal with her during the double eviction when she was crying. Meg tells her that it bothered her to an extent because of how spur of the moment it was, but says that she knows Vanessa was just playing the game like she has to. Meg tells Vanessa that her crying had nothing to do with her as Vanessa isn’t even on her radar, the example of that being how hard her, James, and Jackie had to fight to keep her here over Shelli. Vanessa asks who she were going to put up during the double eviction. Meg tells her John and Steve. Vanessa tells her that James, Austin, and the twins are telling her that her and Jackie planned to get her out. Meg explains that they had to tell people that they’d get her out next so that they’d feel comfortable with voting Shelli out that week instead of her.
Meg and Vanessa to target whoever from jury that comes back and send them back out the door. Vanessa begins discussing who they should send out this week. Meg tells her that they’re both equally x-factors. Vanessa agrees, but says that she can win all the comps that Steve can, so they wouldn’t be losing anything. Vanessa points out that if they sent John out, he couldn’t work with Shelli if she were to return. Meg tells her that Steve could work with Shelli too.
9:00 PM BBT: Austin tells Liz that if Steve goes nuts about him and John staying on the block, Steve is the one who is going home. Liz tells him that John is a mess and wouldn’t mind seeing him go this week. Austin tells her that he’s going back and forth between the two. Austin tells her that if John goes, they’re still in good with Steve, Meg, and James. Austin explains to Liz that if they save James this week, he couldn’t screw them over after that because it would be dumb and he’d lose everyone. Liz asks if he’s leaning towards getting Steve out. Austin says that’s not what he’s saying, though it’s a possibility. Austin adds that they’re just going to think about it all week and make the right decision.
9:30 PM BBT: Austin asks Liz to be his girlfriend. She accepted.
10:25 PM BBT: Austin tells John that the only thing he’s worried about is the reasoning as to why James said he’d throw the HOH to him. John tells him it was because James wanted him to get out Vanessa. John tells Austin that everyone returning from jury will likely be after them, so he’ll just have to ignore that aspect when making his decision this week. John adds that they’ll have to be taken out at some point when it gets down to just them, and if he has to be the one to do it, he’ll do it on their terms. John tells Austin that the way Steve talks game with them is unlike he’s seen with anyone else because he actually trusts them.
10:40 PM BBT: Austin tells Liz that he believes that if Jackie were to return, James wouldn’t let her target them because of everything they’ve done for James. Austin adds that John being in their final 5 would be weak competition compared to a Steve or a Vanessa. Liz asks who James would go after if he stayed. Austin tells her Vanessa. Liz asks who would Vanessa go after. Austin tells her James. Julia joins the conversation and updates her on his conversation with John. Austin tells her that John threatened to come after them that everyone in jury would come after them if he were to leave. Austin tells Liz that John brought up a good point that Steve is more loyal to them than John is. Liz tells him that Steve hasn’t done anything in the game, but he’s going to want to make a big move like take out Liztin or Twinstin. Austin tells Liz that he’ll ask Steve when him and John started working together to see if Steve admits that it was early on in the season, when Da’Vonne was still there.
11:00 PM BBT: Austin asks Steve when him and John started working together. Steve tells him that he doesn’t have a specific point in time. Austin tells him that John said there was an alliance between John, Steve, Clay, and Shelli. Steve said it was brought up, but never solidified. Steve changes the subject to this week’s plans and asks who is more likely to come after him next. Austin says James. Steve tells him that James threw a BOB to get him backdoored, which is the most anyone has attacked him. Steve asks if he’s saying that the best person for him to get out is James. Austin tells him that he’s not saying that. Liz tells Steve that he doesn’t have anything to worry about because he’s safe with them.
11:10 PM BBT: Vanessa tells Austin that if she were to use the veto, she’d want James to be the target. Vanessa adds that’s just her opinion and won’t use it if that’s not what he wants. Vanessa tells Austwins and Steve that it is best strategically for them to take a stab at the other side now. Steve tells Austin that they need to squash the people who are coming after them, so who are those people. Austin tells him that he guesses that it’s Meg and James. Austin tells Steve that if John doesn’t go this week, he could easily slide into finals. Steve tells him that it’s not like the other side is going to not come after them just for not getting James out, they’re going to come for them regardless.
11:30 PM BBT: Vanessa tells Steve that Austin feels safe with James, which is why he doesn’t want to put him up. Vanessa adds that she believes Austin will want to keep the nominations the same, though that isn’t exactly what is best for her game. Vanessa tells Steve that it wasn’t smart for them to get into an alliance with a showmance and sisters. Vanessa tells him that she is genuinely rooting for John to return if he leaves this week. Steve tells Vanessa that Austwins want to make sure that they’re getting targeted and not them. Steve asks who Meg and James would go after. Vanessa tells him that it’s the two of them.
11:30 PM BBT: Austin tells James that John said James told him that he’d throw the last HOH to him if the two of them were the last ones remaining. James tells him that is a lie. Austin tells James that he doesn’t have to worry about the veto getting used because Vanessa is going to do what he wants, and even if she does go rogue, she won’t have the votes to get him or Meg out. James tells them that whoever returns from jury will be sent right back out, including Jackie. Austin tells James and Meg that John is like a dead dog at this point, he’s someone they can control and someone they can get out whenever they want.
12:15 AM BBT: Julia questions Vanessa as to why they’re in power this week and not taking out James. Vanessa tells her that she doesn’t understand why Austin isn’t willing to get James out when it’s best for all of their games. Julia agrees and says this is a great opportunity to get James out. Julia adds that if Jackie comes back, they’re screwed because James and Meg will become a trio. Julia tells her that they’re at the point in the game where they have to take out big threats, not a floater with no HOH wins. Julia asks if Vanessa is thinking the same thing she’s thinking in regards to getting out James. Vanessa tells her that she is.
12:25 AM BBT: James tells Vanessa that John has been telling Austin that he told John he’d throw it to John if it came down to the two of them, which isn’t true, so he needs to find out if it’s true or not so he doesn’t throw John under the bus without knowing the full truth. Vanessa tells him that she’ll go have a talk with John straight up about it.
12:35 AM BBT: Vanessa asks John if he had any deals going into this latest HOH that they’d throw it to him. John tells her that yes, both Austin and James said they would throw it to him. Vanessa asks if he’s sure because James is denying it. John tells her that he is 1 million percent sure that James told him that he’d throw it. Vanessa asks why James would throw it to him. John tells her because everyone wanted her out and James didn’t want to be the one to get the blood on his hands. Vanessa tells him that makes sense.
12:40 AM BBT: Vanessa tells James that John swears that he did tell John that. Vanessa adds that John’s reasoning for James telling him that he’d throw it to him was because James didn’t want the blood on his hands. Vanessa tells James that logic makes sense and she doesn’t blame him for it. James tells her that there is no way that he told John that he’d throw it to him.
12:45 AM BBT: James asks John what conversation was it that he told him he would throw it to him. John tells James that it was right before the eviction when they were both getting ready, that it wasn’t a deal, it was just something that was quickly said. James tells him that Austin is trying to make it seem like he pushed it as some big deal that was made. John tells him that he’s willing to tell Austin that it wasn’t a deal, just something that was said in passing. James tells him that his only issue is him not remembering telling him this because throwing HOHs isn’t his style. James tells John that if he’s saying that he told him that, he must have.
12:50 AM BBT: Hide N’ Seek.
1:35 AM BBT: James tells Austin about his conversation with John and how it was explained. Austin asks if John is insane for throwing him under the bus when he’s the one in charge.
1:40 AM BBT: Austin tells Vanessa that he thought he caught John in a lie about James. Vanessa tells him that it seems like they were both telling the truth. Austin tells her that the nominations needs to stay the same and John needs to go. Austin tells her that James’ story changed, but he’s not mad about that, he’s made about Steve’s story about his final 2 with John keeps changing. Austin tells her that before today, she trusted Steve a lot more, but now that is slipping. Vanessa asks if he wants her to keep the nominations the same. Austin tells her yes because he feels like they’re good with Meg and James. Austin adds that if they don’t waste an HOH on John, he’s going to make it to final 4. Vanessa tells him that they will be able to control Steve better than they could John.
Vanessa tells them that if they don’t get out John or James, it’s going to blow if Jackie comes back. Austin begins ranting about John supposedly throwing him under the bus to James. Austin says that John is just an idiot and that would explain his actions. Austin says they have all week to decide who they can trust them most. Vanessa says it might be John. Julia says it might not be John.
2:15 AM BBT: Austin asks Liz and Julia who they want gone this week. Both agree that John should be the one to go. Austin tells them that he thinks they’re right. Austin tells them that after their conversation with James and Meg, he really does think they’re going to keep them safe. Julia tells them that James and Meg aren’t going to target Jackie though if she comes back. Austin tells her that he believes they will because James and Meg really like them now.
